I rode the train this afternoon and the turntable for the rapids is still in pieces. Definitely not opening too soon. I did however spot one worker repairing something on the course so not a completely lost cause.

Also saw about 6 people working on the lift motor/gearbox for Goliath.

So likely an issue with the lift chain or motor?

Goliath opened at 11:25 AM on Memorial Day. I was 1st in line and waited for it to open. Not sure if it was related to the replaced Lift Hill motor or not.

I was so confused when I entered the park and wasn’t greeted with the same playlist of 5 to 10 year old pop hits. Very refreshing for a change!

Has anyone noticed anything different with the ride ops using IROC standards?

The ability to find an empty seat is still there. Outside of some slow ops I haven’t really noticed much difference.

They must have been testing it cause it doesn’t stay filled with water when it’s shut off.

Not sure what they were testing but the loading area for the rapids is still not close.

I can confirm that there is water in the Rapids ponds. The ride course itself has no water but the pond does. The station still looked dismantled.

Also I noticed this guy back his spot. Was missing all other days I walked around this year.

And I could’ve sworn their were Looney Toons characters by Sky Trek tower last year. None this year. I could be misremembering. I’ll have to check my photos.

Nice. I missed that. Other things to note.

Good to see Sky Trek Tower open all day. And good to see Loggers scheduled til park close (it did open late)

Demons exit queue still has no fencing. But the ride itself looks ready

Eagle blue also looks ready as both trains were on the track (assuming they will open when they need it or have the staffing)

The sign saying Sky Striker will close up to 60 minutes early is back.

All the foggers on Batman were off (hopefully that’s not a trend)

Still no shows in GMH

Refill station across from Yukon BBQ is open.

The Totally Kickin Chicken stand by Demon appears to be getting a re-theme as well.

The new Demon Delights/Wrath gift shop looks good from the outside.

There was nothing by Sky Trek Tower on Monday. Do you have photos?

GreatAmericanFox uploaded a video highlighting the return of the themed music.

This was an easy fix to make the park more family friendly

Cedar Fair knows how to build an elite coaster park but at the same time, make it family friendly. I'm very happy with the job they are doing, and I can't wait to see what the future holds

Demon's tunnel lighting is being restored with bulbs fully surrounding the track.

Kind of a don't care moment for me. Doubt I'll ever go on demon again in my lifetime.

Just can't ride an arrow.

All good bro, no need to go out of your way. Not sure how I missed them Monday, but I’ll be back next week to check it out. Here’s a pic from last year:

I don't blame you for not realizing they were there haha. Not something someone would have their attention drawn to except my Looney Tunes obsessed self lmao
