I rode the train this afternoon and the turntable for the rapids is still in pieces. Definitely not opening too soon. I did however spot one worker repairing something on the course so not a completely lost cause.
Also saw about 6 people working on the lift motor/gearbox for Goliath.

So likely an issue with the lift chain or motor?

Assuming so, It did open this afternoon though and stayed open the rest of the day!
Goliath opened at 11:25 AM on Memorial Day. I was 1st in line and waited for it to open. Not sure if it was related to the replaced Lift Hill motor or not.

You mean you don't miss "Never Gonna Give You Up" song being played constantly??

Yeah there is still some water, I got some pics today:
Also I noticed this guy back his spot. Was missing all other days I walked around this year.
And I could’ve sworn their were Looney Toons characters by Sky Trek tower last year. None this year. I could be misremembering. I’ll have to check my photos.

Road Runner and Wile E are still by Sky Trek, but i think Bugs is gone, nice to see Daffy back though
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back

There was nothing by Sky Trek Tower on Monday. Do you have photos?
GreatAmericanFox uploaded a video highlighting the return of the themed music.
This was an easy fix to make the park more family friendly
Cedar Fair knows how to build an elite coaster park but at the same time, make it family friendly. I'm very happy with the job they are doing, and I can't wait to see what the future holds

I don't have one on hand but i'll get one next time i go to the park
All good bro, no need to go out of your way. Not sure how I missed them Monday, but I’ll be back next week to check it out. Here’s a pic from last year:

I don't blame you for not realizing they were there haha. Not something someone would have their attention drawn to except my Looney Tunes obsessed self lmao
