New Ride(s) for 2014

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Iron Wolf 90-11 on August 29th, 2013, 12:15 am
On their website they no longer have a page for the 2014 announcement being the 29th, that changes. That can only mean one thing, they removed it and we're getting close to the announcement!

Sure, I want to know, but I'm not that desperate to stay up another 3 1/2 hours. We already know so many things about the ride - where it's going, the height, most likely the speed, most likely a really steep drop. Right now, I'm really more curious as to what Magic Mountain (Is Colossus going to be redone?) or Over Texas are getting over something like this. What I'll be more sad about is, is that in a week this board will be a lot more dead.

My guess: RMC woodie, 72mph, 180 foot drop, 85 degrees, 2 inversions.

A part of me wants it to be a 90degree drop so the marketing will say: "The world's first vertical dropping wooden roller coaster!" so I can say it in a British accent to be like Oblivion's marketing as the worlds first vertical dropping roller coaster! LOL

I know this is a little off topic, but i'm trying to wait till 4am as well. And to pass the time away I have already watched "Silver Linings Playbook", "Sinister", and "The Great Gatsby" I must way I am going to be either falling asleep right before the announcement or sleep right through the 4am and 10am one.
When you get to the top, and you hear that click, you better hang on, because your coming down quick!
