I just saw on NBC 5 news there will be a special investigation report about Emergency Medical Care at the park. 'And now a report prompts state action.' Is this really necessary to report the same day as this announcement?

I like that name I like Mammoth things!
I just showed my bf what you said, we LOLd thanks haha
I'm already predicting that this coaster won't be open until memorial day at the latest. One being given this is Six Flags we're talking about and two being that wooden coasters take a little longer to construct than a steel coaster. Then again who knows, they could surpise us all and actually have the coaster open by opening day next year?
I propose a celebration in the parking lot right after the announcement. Lets get weird erebody
"Everyone, listen to me! These jerks killed Superboy. They've tried to kill us. Now they say they're going to tear this city apart. I say... like hell."

And I still don't get why people don't like the name. Yes, it's over used, but at least it's a good name that actually applies to the ride. Knowing Six Flags they could have called it something like Krazy Koaster or Lex Luthor or Jack Link's Sasquatch's Forest Adventure Presented by Takis and sponsored by Stride.

I guess I just don't want the name to be Goliath so I'm trying to convince myself it'll be a unique name. If it is Goliath (which all clues point to it being called Goliath, especially the employee named David) I guess it won't matter as long as the ride is crazy awesome!

^^ That just put what you wrote in the link. http://content.sixflags.com/comingin2014/goliath turns into the original link I posted, with Goliath and Great America in the url. Your link doesn't put Great America in the url.
I think I get what he means. The link which is just sixflags.com turns into Great America's in the URL. Aside from the links, all of the teasers point to it being called Goliath. The employee is named David, they showed GIANT drop at the beginning of one of the teasers, and there's a few other things that hint to something "giant". I'm still hoping it isn't Goliath, but I won't be mad if it is. It's the roller coaster ride itself that matters, not the name.

All I can do is express my displeasure to the SF marketing staff. So whoever runs the SFGAm Twitter page, I hope you're reading and pass this along to your superiors.

... You would seriously boycott a ride because of it's name.
Didn't we just have a huge discussion about sarcasm and how no one really knows when it's there or not?
