Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Agreed. I also would be really excited to see them build a tunnel from the site, under Camp Cartoon, and level the Wilderness Theater to have a tunnel come out there and have some twists and turns. Also, it would be amazing having an overbanked turn over the water (if possible) or make it what i believe would be the worlds first underWATER coaster making a leakproof tunnel allowing the track to go underwater. Have a tunnel coming back, and finishing the ride with some twists and turns!

Just thinking, depending on the size, unless they can expand IW's station without removing it, we may see 3 trains operating on it.

Also, they NEED to expand the old queue line if the plan to use it. I'm happy if this comes. Especially because. most likely, bye bye County Fair Stage! Unless they decide to take down a game booth that's never open. Such as the Fairgrounds basket shot (or whatever it's called), I've only seen it open once this year....OPENING DAY.

Are you on your computer? Take a screenshot or 2 of the article. If you're on a Windows, press CTRL and PRTSC and paste the image in Paint. I'm not sure how to screen shot on a Mac.

Try pressing print screen and then posting the picture into the thread

To screen shot on a Mac, press "shift + command + 3" for the whole screen or "shift + command + 4" at the same time to click and drag the area you want to screen shot.

I attached them as files. There are 3 of them. If that didn't work I will try again. If you need more specific screen grabs let me know while I still have the article up.

Thanks, I tried to click on the link to the article earlier and was sad to see that it wasn't working. Thanks for posting this

Where is this coaster fully going though? I don't think that Iron Wolf area ALONE is big enough for a 70+ fast coaster. Is it going to stretch from Iron Wolf area all the way to Eagle area, and is part of American Eagle going away for this coaster? I can see this coaster easily going over the train station walkway in County Fair, and them getting rid of the Funnel Cake place, but would it go further than that.

The article is still up. The Daily Herald went down for quick maintenance but everything is back online.

No problem I have been following this board for an insanely long time and just never post anything. Never even made an account. But I figured since I was probably the only one that left the article up that I would start and help everyone out.

EDIT: Oh well at least if they do end up taking it down then it is still up on here for everyone to look at.

Do you seriously mean the things you post? Or think about what you are posting?

Why would they take out part of Eagle? That makes absolutely no sense.

There is a pretty much abandoned theater behind that site. Wouldn't it make sense to ask if it would go in that direction? When they go to the Village they might bring something that shows exactly where it will go. Until then, no one knows 100% for sure.

All signs point to and RMC, which I think is great for the area Iron Wolf is in. With the forest area all right there, they should be able to do some things similar to what they did with outlaw run.

I still kind of worry that this article could still be a diversion. Although I do think that this is probably 98% true though. If that makes any sense at all.

Because a lot of WOODEN coasters are huge and take up a lot of space. Do you believe Viper could even fit only in Iron Wolf's spot?

If this wooden coaster isn't the fastest wooden coaster ever, maybe it could be the fastest wooden coaster in the Midwest.
But that wouldn't be a world record.
So if two of the records were steepest wooden coaster drop and most inversions on a wooden coaster, then what could the other record be(if this coaster isn't the fastest wooden coaster ever)?

They're probably going to remove Wolf Den snacks to build this. They can build the lift hill parallel to the train tracks like they did with Iron Wolf. That way they shouldn't have a problem reaching the 165 foot mark.

NOBODY PAID ATTENTION TO MY AVATAR! LMAO!

Fastest wooden roller coaster is easy, just needs a... I don't know... 180 foot drop? 180 is the speculated statistic in the next clue from SFGAm, isn't it? Tunnel or trench, I would be willing to put money on this.

Wish I could be at the meeting wed, always fun to see the locals show up bearing torches and pitchforks while ranting and raving for a full 2 hours, only to have the board unanimously approve it. :D

If it's only 165 feet tall, it is either dropping a couple dozen feet into the ground or it's being launched in order to be the fastest.
