I think everyone and their mom learned their lesson last year while construction was going on, stopping and opening pushed back....only to have most people complain a "dark" ride was really not what they were thinking it would be. A year later. A new attraction. Nobody cares anymore.
I just saw the biggest, best and most important news for the park for 2009 and it's in the ad's that rotate at the bottom of every page on the SFGAm website. SFGAm now serves Vienna Beef Hotdogs.
I think I'm more excited over this development than any other addition SFGAm has added since 2001.

that is without a doubt the single worst ride construction photo I've ever seen. They could at least have taken the picture from the other side so, you know, you can actually see the ride being built, rather than 2 electrictians, and some PVC pipe sticking up out of the ground with a 33 year old screw in the background.

I'm actually kind of excited to see this. It looks like a pretty cool idea. Might not be the best thing but it will draw people to the park and will fill one of our 3 empty spots.
"The rides are GREAT, The shows are GREAT, the fun is GREAT. At Marriott"s GREAT AMERICA!"
Cool...nice to see rides coming back in order first time in a long time we are getting to see a new food place coming together...next weekend would be such an eyesore still if it does open with tons of rides closed and BB still a month and a half from completion.
