This revolutionary coaster was the first suspended coaster to feature inversions, and the first ever B&M Inverted Coaster. In 2005 it was named as an ACE Coaster Landmark by the American Coaster Enthsiasts.

Batman was repainted to yellow track with dark blueish/purple supports in 2004.

For a Limited time during the 2013 season Batman: The Ride ran backwards from May 4th 2013 - July 7th 2013
