I'm honestly not that big of a fan of not being able to use certain media. The game is about finding something a person requests, not telling someone how to find it(or in this case, how NOT to find it). If you want the person to have a hard time finding it, ask for a very obscure thing. If it's common, it'll be easier to find. Even then, if you find it in the way the requester didn't expect, that just gives you reason to explore more options.
Sorry to rant, but that's just how I feel about the whole thing.
Well you're completely wrong on why I like using specifications
It's a pet peeve of mine when people use pictures other than the one I found and use them. Seems to be happening quite frequently so I'm trying to stop it by asking for more details and such (And people are still finding their way around it), not to extend the length of the search
Also I personally don't think it's fair when people take screenshots from Google Earth/Maps and pass it off as a picture. This has occurred 2 or 3 times in the past
Btw RC, I'm saying that this game is of people trying to find pictures of things, not pictures themselves. If you want people to have a hard time finding it, then make them look up something obscure. Don't tell people what they can and can't use. The point of this game is to use your imagination to find things. The reason nobody is participating anymore is because of these specific restrictions. We like to use our imagination. If we find Bill's Lemonade in Screams And Dreams Volume 3, then we use that. If we find it on a Tripod, use that. So what if it's not the same image? We are trying to find objects/things.
Again, sorry to rant. I've had a stressful week, and haven't had much of a chance to vent any of it.
Find me a picture of an insurance company banner flying off a Goliath construction crane.
