It is not running. The teal train is still in pieces on the ground. The longest wait for Bull today was only 45 minutes in the afternoon, so I don't think the wait on a Monday should be bad...

Went on Friday and yes there are pieces of the train on the ground around the station/transfer track. While on the topic of trains, I heard something very interesting. I was talking to a guy running x-flight who originally was supposed to work eagle this season. I asked why eagle wasn't running two sides and he responded saying there isn't enough staffing. I asked if that was only because of it being the start of the season but he said it could be long term.

I call BS. There are some ride ops that really do know how things work at the park, but there are many who don't. You found one that doesn't. Once the schools let out, they'll have enough staffing. This isn't rocket science.

I asked my boss if it was okay for me to tell you all of this and he said okay.

Raging bulls 3rd train won't be used because it's under maintenance.

Americans eagles red train is just fine. The brakes just need to be replaced ( we don't know how long it will take)

At the park right now. Raging Bull still only has 2 cars from Teal train on the ground near the ride.

As for Eagle, today Red side is open and Blue side is closed. Eagle Red is running horribly today. Both times were trimmed to nearly a complete stop at Brake 5 (top of large helix) and trimmed hard at the bottom of the helix too, completely ruining the second half of the ride. Brakes were also on hard at Brake 6 (right before the small helix), in fact the first time, the train was completely stopped at Brake 6 for at least 20 seconds.

Park really should investigate in to changing American Eagle totally over to magnetics. They always work the same, they are 100% failsafe, and they require no maintenance what so ever. It also simplifies the operating system quite a lot.

It would be amazing no trims. All B&M hypers have so much potential and the trim brakes just kill them.

I'm going this Saturday. Do you think Raging Bull will have its third, Teal train up by then?

Also, the line at worst went about 35- 45 minutes. Not too bad at all...

I don't make a habit of timing Bull's line with 2 trains. If the line is in the queue house with 2 trains, I keep walking. In fact, I've only ridden Bull 3 times all year. I just walk up the exit to check for any progress.

Are you a sweep or something? Cool story bro.

But the wait is pretty ridiculous, Six Flags as a whole is seeming to get pretty skimpy again. Even the Hurricane Harbor hours were slashed.

^You have a point with Hurricane Harbor. Last year, they were open to 7 pm in the last week of June, all July & first week of August, and this year, it's only open up to 6 pm. Also, they are opening 15 minutes later on everyday they are open. This kind of tells me that last years waterparks additions were a failure. I think they thought the water slides especially would bring in droves of people, but the most people I see in the new area is just the regular pool. They should have put in a water coaster instead of those slides. Oh, well.

And the flash pass people for the Hurricane Mountain (tube slide in left back of park) attraction don't know what they are doing. They basically wait until all 4 rafts up on top are done, and than they let you go when they ALL the rafts come back down to the bottom. They are really lowering capacity on that attraction, and the park the other day actually employed 2 people up on top, but yet the Flash Pass person won't let you go up there until ALL the people with rafts are done up on top.

In my opinion, how it SHOULD work is that there should be a minimum of 6 rafts (whether it be 2 people for each raft or just one) on top in order to be stopped by a Flash Pass person. When only 2 rafts are on top, than the Flash Pass person sends 4 more up. The Family Raft slides, I'm perfectly fine with because there are a number of people on top, but for Hurricane Mountain, it takes probably about 1 minute to even get up the stairs plus people don't walk that fast to get up there to begin with. And again with 2 employees on top, that's 2 rafts going down at the same time.

If anyone can't relate because of this being a waterpark attraction, it's like waiting down below for Batman the Ride, and the Flash Pass person won't let anyone go until the whole Batman station has no one in it at all. Than, the Flash Pass person sends people up. A train is than sent empty because the Flash Pass person didn't send anybody up. And imagine this keep happening, and happening again. That's the situation I'm talking about for this Hurricane Mountain attraction.

They intentionally reduce rides capacities to increase the amount of flash pass's they sell, be it at the water park, or the main park. If a ride like RB isnt operating at capacity they shouldnt allow any flash passes on that attraction.
RB again only had 2 trains on Sat., so 1 month into the season and a 6 month off season isnt enough time to get the ride operating to its full capacity. I guess since they have a new attraction they dont feel the need have others running fully!

I am getting really, really sick of all this Flash Pass conspiracy crap. I don't do Hurricane Harbor, so I don't know how they do things in there, but I can tell you as far as the rides are concerned there is NO grand Flash Pass conspiracy. Rides wants their rides running at capacity whenever possible, unless it is legitimately dead.

I agree Raging Bull (and Demon) should have had their trains a long time ago. That said, I don't know the nature of the delays. I don't know if they just got behind, or if they found unexpected issues/parts needed that aren't usually kept in stock.
