I got verizon, and It's fine. People just hold grudges against certain companies...like most people think that Dell's are crap.
For verizon you can 'scam' a free ringtone or two by checking your "Get It Now" for free 1 day trials of ringtone programs. Just get a program, download a ringtone or two, and set them to your ringtone. The program will expire in 1 day, but it wont delete, and as long as you don't delete it, you will still have the ringtone.
Another way is by downloading MIDI files from any old midi source, then email it to your phone. It will either cost .50 as a picture message, or .5 as a text message (your rates may vary).
Otherwise, I guess I would suggest getting a cable to connect it to your computer off ebay (about 10-15). I can get all my photos off my phone (camera phone) and add ringtones/wallpapers for free.
Well my sister works at the Identity Fraud Department For Verizon Wireless in Schamburg and she has Verizon Wireless phone and she says since she works there, they do not give employees special discounts, and stuff. And she says there a good company but their phones suck! Good Thing I got Cingular!
And by the way to answer the Ringtones question, try Sony Music Box they do verizon wireless ringtones.
From being one of the class geeks in 8th grade to one of the most noticable ones in High School. Thats what you call "Steppin Yo Game Up!"
Sorry to bring back such an old topic, but I didnt want to start a new one. Does anyone know a good sight where I can download ringtones but not have them sent to my phone?
