They could have "Homeless Alley" and have themed rides like a roller coaster where you sit in a shopping cart-like vehicle, and at Fright Fest they could have dead hobo's that jump out and scare you and a bunch of garbage and trash can fires. Now that's what I call theming!
i'm rocking the suburbs, just like quiet riot did...
^I think it would be neat, but hard to accomplish. You would need a park like Dollywood that actually goes up into a mountain range to pull that off effectively. However, the idea is great, it is too bad you can't find scenery like this at most parks.
alright alright im sorry. you are right, yukon territory doesnt make you feel like your in the wilderness. i miss read the post and thourht you wanted to completely take out county fair. my bad
Sorry, didn't mean to pick on you or anything, but that area does need better theming.

ragingbullchick wrote:v2guy13... You need to realize that having names with the word "Territory" in it and actually being wilderness themed are two totally different things. When you walk through Yukon Territory, do you feel like you're actually in the wilderness? I'm thinking no. That's theming that needs work. But yet in Southwest Territory, do you feel like you're in some deserted ghost town (with the exception of SFGAm crowds.)? Probably, or at least somewhat. That's an example of good theming.
I used to feel like walking out in the west a long time ago in Southwest (1998) and it did make me feel like I was there. Today, it's another story. It's gotten cheapened with the removal of Professor Rainmaker, the addition of the carny games near the Viper, and the removal of the Lucky Shot for a food stand. That building looks so out of theme now.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

^Really, I thought it didn't look so bad. I think the part that takes away from the feeling of being out west is the waterpark. The enterance takes away from the themeing and the fact that you can see stuff behind Raging Bull as you enter the section doesn't make you feel out in the open anymore. The theme is still incredible though.
