who knows, there are a lot of unsolved questions about great america. If it is Gam's land then they should use it, but thats just me.
I'm running to Bull on opening day, anyone gets in my way and they'll get trampled.

They might be keeping the water for the water rides there.

Does anyone know what is in those big buildings by that area?

Why would they put a coaster that far out of the park? The queue would interfere with the matinence area over there and cause to much of a hassle. It's there for a reason and it's probably going to stay that way.

I think its a wearhouse where they put all the food, parts for the rides etc. The one across milwaukee ave are shops and restaurants and offices. Theres no ride in that land maybe because they cant connect that part of the land with the park itself because of all that buildings and employee parking lot in middle and that pond in the middle maybe is used for sewer runoff so some parts of the park wont get flooded when it rains heavily.

Yea, it is a big peice of land. They could make a path that starts by eagle and goes behind those warehouses, but I think that would be a long walk.

Wow that is long.

If they put a few flats behind eagle and by the path I was talking about earlier, it would work.

He's not offended, he's just giving an opinion, which also seems realistic. I was going to say the same thing, it's just too far out from the park and would cause a hassle.

Depending on whether or not that is a natural pond, Great America may not be able to build over it. Most, if not all wetlands are protected now and are very hard to build over. Furthermore, the pond may be serving as an importaint drainage source for runoff inside the park.

Well, the impact to the natural ecosystem/area around it. Perhaps building a rollercoaster would have environmental effects as well.

I was going to correct you coasterinsane about my opinion.

Frankly I'd be getting offended over that too.

Proving not starting.

Aero's explanation seems, logical, as does the fact that it's just too out of the way for the park to build on. Thats like having a coaster across the highway, and nothing else but the coaster.

Put's it into perspective, no?

they could always move ALL the stuff like employee parking and all those buildings in front of the land back, and then expand the park with another territory or 2 over the next 10 or 20 years lol
