Since the addition of Mardi Gras in 2004, I have taken so many people to try out Cajun and I receive many mixed reviews. The question is, Do you beleive the addition of the fairly new coaster and the section was worth it?
I however think its a great addition and would now die without. I need a spin on Ragin' Cajun every trip to Great America, I love it, and it fits nicley within the area.
I'm glad SFGAm decided to do the whole Mardi Gras area. After Cajun Cliffhanger and Power Dive were torn out ( ) that area was almost completely dead except for Roaring Rapids.
ragin cajun has the longest line and also hurts me too because i'm always on the end. i personally am not a big fan and say that they should bring pover dive back even though they won't because they need the family coaster cause it makes money to build us more coasters. but anyway mardi gras section isn't that great even though it rolls in alot of money for our coasters cause it takes up land and that is something that great america doesn't have alot of. king chaos is kinda like power dive but it gives too short of a ride my only favorite rides in mardi gras are king chaos and roaring rapids. i think they shoul rename roaring rapids to something else cause it doesn't fit the theming. like mardi gras mexican splash just a thought

Ragin' Cajun is a ride that fits in with Mardi Gras theme, and it is a great kids coaster. My little cousin is 49 inches tall, so he can't go on many of the rides... but RC is his absolute favorite.

Rajin' Cajun is a good decently intense family ride. People always seem to have a good time on it and there's usually a line. I'd say it was a good addition.
1. Voyage
2. X
3. Millenium Force
4. Top Thrill Dragster
5. Raging Bull
Im not a fan of this ride or any ride that spins, but i do think it ias a good addition to the park. It is a ride with a shorter height limit so more people can ride it and any good ride helps spread the crowds around. As for the theming and oterh ride in the area, they are so-so but there isnt alot of land too work with so i guess they did ok.

I figured out how to ride without getting hurt too bad after the third time..i used to hate it, but i like it now.
I think it was a very good addition to the park.

Ragin' Cajun is probably the coaster that i have the most fun on. Every time i ride it, i get a new experience and the picture is so unpredictable that the first time riding this ride, you are guarenteed a picture worth buying. Six Flags made a great decision on this coaster. It appeals to all ages, it can be rough, but fun at the same time, and it is the only coaster that i have seen to always have people buying on-ride photos. The rest of Mardi Gras fits in very well with Orleans Place and makes sense, since this part of the section is a branch off from Orleans Place, to name it after something that is apart, but still part of New Orleans.
After all of that, Ragin' Cajun is a supurb addition to the park.
