^What the hell??? Flat rides are there for the people who can't handle the coasters yet. You would not believe how many people those rides get a day. YOU NEED BALANCE. All you guys want it a park full of coasters, and frankly, I would find that quite boring. Learn what makes a park a park then you can tell me what can be removed.

I agree with you. I love the riochet and river rocker. Theres no room for a coaster there anyway.

I agree, the flats are just as important as the coasters. Flats should be taken out like coasters are, not too often and only when most of the park visiters don't like it anymore (shockwave, powerdive, sky whirl, etc.). So far, Great America has done a great job with their replacements and they will continue to do good. For the floorless idea, i second the Iron Wolf idea.

And they could put it where Batman the Ride is now to keep the Batman theme but put in a new expierience, BTR is to short and you cant tell when you go upsidedown, you just get minor whiplash through the corckscrews and heartline.

B:TR is the #2 most popular ride in the park, behind Raging Bull.

Right, and even though you don't always see long lines for flats at our park, doesn't mean people don't ride them, especially not enough to take those rides out. If anyone has seen the park on high visit days, flats can usually get full queues throughout the day.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

Yes i totally agree with you. Even though i love a good coaster, I can't help but not go on a flat once in a while.

I love flats. I like a lot of our flats better then a couple of the coasters. I always ride flats whenever I visit. And I won't lie, I'd love to have a floorless, but things like the tornado and other park improvements need to come first.

I dont ride flat rides but a park does need a variety of rides to fit all the different peole that go to the park so i wouldnt want to see many removed unless they were repalced with another ride. What i would like the park to put in is a interactive ride ala-Scooby doo ar SFSTL is a example(not that i want that exact ride). A ride that could be enjoyed by almost all park visitors. I know from when i have visited SFSTL we went on that ride first as it had lines that were longer than any of the coasters in the park that day. While i would love to get a new coaster i think the park is more in need of attractions that most of the family can all ride and enjoy together.

I dont do that many flats. Basically, river rocker, ricochet, that sweet wagon ride and whatever doesnt have a long line.

I really love the various ghostblater attractions as talked about above by Bob O. I loved the ond at SFFT. That rocked and was the second longest line of the day after S:KC. But we rode it like 20 times in one day. (that's an exageration, or however you spell that) I think that would be a great addition to Yukon just becuase there would finally be something to do in that section.

It would be perfect you could use the space where Cartoon Cabin Is, and then change claimjumpers to Scooby Snacks, and Snow Caps to Mystery Inc. or something like that. They could do a lot with it. although it may take up the space in the back with the wooden dock behind claimjumpers/Cartoon cabin. That would be so cool.

i doubt will even get a new coaster this year because they dont have much land to put the ride on and they have to go through all that gurnee village board crap. if we get a floorless it should be the tallest and steepest in the world they could tear down the southwest amphitheater and put it by eagle and call it phoenix or hawk not the same name as medussa.

Ugh, IF there was a floorless to come to great america, I would much rather it appear as DAEMONEN or HYDRA....those compact "beasts".
We dont need a floorless.....

And Thank you for who said(FRD714) "maybe well get something better than a floorless"......Wouldnt it be nicer if we got a model no one else has in the world like those THRILL LIFT COASTERS that Vekoma never released yet?

That would not only be unique but an awsome media event to come back to great america

Yeah, everyone thinks so, but wouldnt it be nice to have a Vekoma Thrill Lift instead of a floorless...a style of coaster other parks have?

They just look unique, I dont know why no one has purchased one yet?

gottastratta, you don't know much about companies do you?

Vekoma has awesome ideas, but they aren't that reliable, as is with any prototype.

Six Flags has learned their lesson with X and the Giant Inverted Boomerangs. We won't be seeing anything like the Thrill Lift of a Tilt Coaster in the chain anytime soon.

The less Vekoma's the better!!
While a floorless would be better than nothing, i would much perfer a rocket coaster than a yawner that Hydra is.
