What I would like to see for 06

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

It was just a joke. Look in my sig genius.
Tornado-2006-trust me we all get it. We've known about the effing tornado longer then we knew about superman. It's been a long time.

But something peculiar was pointed out to me by a fellow poster. Sevart mentioned he'd like to have construction done by the end of December. Wouldn't you think they would start getting going? I realize none of us have been to the park to check recently, but driving by I-94 anyone seen any cranes?

That's how you get a topic back on subject.

greatamerica2003 said the catch pool was dug out and the footers were uncovered and prepared and all that jazz. From what I remember it sure took construction crews longer lay ground work then it was to put up the slides.

I'm not saying it will happen but I'd like to see the following for 2006:

-A tornado in Hurricane Harbor (probably planned ahead of time)
-A 120+ foot water slide of some sort
-Ice Mountain Splash re-named Yankee Clipper
-Angelo's changed into a seafood restaurant, and the mostaccioli moved to Bayou Grill
-All the original Marriott soundtracks converted in MP3 format, and all the missing material recovered so the soundtracks play in full just like they used to
-Splashwater Falls removed for a floorless
-The entire section of Plymouth Place rehabbed, with the Space Shuttle building gone to make way for flats and a Power Tower like free-fall ride
-The Watering Hole in Southwest transformed back into Lucky Shot :D
-More rides in Looney Tunes National Park
-The same for Hometown Park
-Maybe a few rides which are sitting in the back collecting dust can be fixed up and re-installed or shipped somewhere else and that includes Power Dive
-The return of Shock Wave (just kidding, that ride's been scrapped)
-Southwest Amphitheatre removed for a coaster named Powder Keg (It's just an idea, but I can use it as a joke)
-The Wilderness Theatre in use again
-And I have a funny one here - The expansion of Castaway Creek so the man-made river can extend under the service road and under the tollway and zipping through the business commerce before turning around and yet again going under the tollway and service road before ending up back by the waterslides.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

Splashwater Falls removed for an Intamin (nearly vertical) hydro coaster 8) It would be a better soaking ride, a roller coaster to add to our count, more thrilling...

i sat indian style through the whole ride
You're not suppose to sit with your legs in because you can easily slip behind and over the seatbelt. :)
Not to get us off topic, but i didn't know that was a rule and I am a little over 200 lbs, therefore there isn't a chance on earth of me slipping out of that seatbelt that barely makes it's way around me anyways.

A hydro coaster would be a terrific idea. That way we can equate fast loading speed with getting half-soaked on a hot summer day. So this should beat the lines for Roaring Rapids and Loggers Run.

whizzer stays for 06 its cheaper and smaller to maintain than rbull or dejavu and its always open everytime I go in the park except when the weathers bad besides a medussa coaster will not fit in its land its too small and when it gets busy the lines for medussa could block off shops and restaurants they have beside it and six flags do not want that to happen.

I cant take people discussing Whizzers removal and adding a floorless anymore.....
Dont you see that whizzer is a family attraction and it brings in families? Thats its point, and its a very reliable, smooth, great running, well terrained, suprising, very comfortable, neat, great layout, one hell of a nice coaster.......................so let it be and stop discussing its removal until something may actually be announced about just that....ok, please.

Many of you here have wonderful ideas. Discuss other plans youd like to see other than that of ridding whizzer to add a floorless, theyre not that special or great especially if not in front...theyre like normal sitdowns with a crapload of inversions.

Here, Ill start something :P Would any of think it would be possible if they were to take out hometown funmachine and add a Skywheel? There is plenty of land on the side of whizzer where HFMachine is that extends beyond that scrambler. That could be where the que extends :?

Im just trying to discuss sonething new for this topic. To be honest I want a Giga coaster, a Hydro coaster, a strata, and a skywheel...but where can they go? -nowhere! The giga and strata sound just as insane as removing whizzer for a floorless.
IF...IF, whizzer were to leave us in the future, I think there shall be a smaller Giga than that of MF to be placed on that land but look at rb1's post he makes so much sense.....a giga would make the same or worst problems just as a floorless would, I mean theyll just do planning for a different que area, but.....ugh whatever, Now that Ive ***ched, I dont care anymore.

Yeah a floorless would be pretty cool, they could take out Batman because that ride sucks I don't like it, I don't mind if they take that out but the other rides are the bomb, they could take out some of the flatrides to and make room that way.

Ok if not Batman, then what ride isn't popular then get rid of that ride but most of the rides at SF are popular.

JACKLUVER, what the heck is wrong with you.....please tell me youre being sarcastic? :x Have you not read anything in other posts........its idiotic to take out BTR!

Binks and FDR are like the only ones who have agreed to this batman thing......WHY TAKE IT OUT?

Are you that ungreatful that just because you think it sucks, its to leave? Look at its lines, everyone knows that ride and if it was to be removed wait till you see the "public outcry" on that  Itll be 10 times worst than when it happened to whizzer.........people will be **ssed( didnt know if I could post that :? ).......

And jeez cant you see how everyone else sees that a BALANCE is so important between flats and coasters???

My Dad told me about that one. He said that when he rode this as a kid, they'd always try to stick their arms out and grab stuff, like branches. A really dumb idea, but still, funny.

^People still do that now and it is basically impossible and dangerous. I personally think it would be interesting to ride an indoor, themed, S&S Screamin' Squirrel coaster. How about that for space saving! :D

SFGAm doesn't need a floorless. We already have Superman, Batman, Deja Vu and V2 and they don't have floors, and Raging Bull's seats are so high your feet don't touch the ground. And if you set up you seat on IW to its highest point (not that I reccomend that) you've got yourself a floorless there too. So enough about a floorless people and live with what we've got now.

I like the Screamin' Squirrel idea though.

What's the big deal with floorless coasters? Pardon my naivete here, but they don't sound that thrilling, at least not as much as I've heard people make them out to be.

Seriously, an indoor coaster is the way to go. If it is small, like a Screamin' Squirrel, that would be perfect for our park. I hope someone from the park read my idea above.
