Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
I would hope so, that way it can say Hurricane Harbor also. Instead of just using a poster. I don't know if this is true or not.

Ron Sevart said during the Hurricane Harbor construction tour that it would be replaced after the 2005 season. It is possible that plans have changed, but there will probably be a new sign next year.

Who knows, by then it may not even have a "Six Flags" on it anymore.

Six Flags is up for sale. If the company is sold it is uncertain whether or not it will keep the Six Flags brand.

I hope they replace that sign. Like I've said before, park maintanince makes guests have a much better experience.

Good one.
Actually, I was joking. That wasn't funny at all.
I'd say that if Dan Snyder or some other individual person bought Six Flags, the Six Flags name would stay, but if a park company, like Cedar Fair, bought it, then the Six Flags would probably be dropped. That's just my opinion though.

If CF does get GAm the name will probably change to just Great America. That sign has been there since the Marriott days.

^You know, come to think of it, i don't remember seeing one for Cedar Point. However, i don't think they would buy our sign, it is outdated.

I heard it from some people at SFGAM. I don't know if it's true or not. It might just be a rumor.

Its confirmed by six flags that CP may place a bid on the company.

I still don't understand why Cedar Fair would want to buy our sign.

I think they're talking about the park twix.

hehe, I figured that out after zjohn posted.
When the title of the thread is "SFGAm's Sign," then usually "it" refers to the title of the thread, "SFGAm's Sign".
(Also, Cedar Fair would buy the park/chain, not Cedar Point.)
