I just bought some TurtleWax Rubbing Compound "Heavy Duty Cleaner" for my car because it is suffering from serious oxidation. (It is obvious the previous owner did not care for it.) Apparently, TurtleWax Rubbing Compound is a special HEAVY DUTY formula for cleaning, dull, badly weathered finishes. Quickly and easily penetrates through the oxidized surface to remove scratches, blemishes, and stubborn stains. Recommended for fubbing down between coats of newly sprayed lacquer and acrylic car finishes.
In addition to buying turtle wax, I also bought a replacement antenna mast since mine somehow disappeared, also bought new plugs for the tires. I'm getting an oil change tomorrow. Just thought I'd let y'all know.
All you do is unscrew the unscrew the filter, unscrew the screw on your oilpan, fill the new filter with fresh oil, let the car drain, screw the filter back in, plug the oil pan again, fill your car with oil.
If you do change your oil, it's very important that you fill your new filter with oil before you put it in your car. If you do not, you car might be running on 0 oil pressure for a second or two which is devistating to the engine.
I hope that isn't a new car he is changing the oil on. Doing your own maintenence on a new vehicle under warranty can actually void the warranty. They can no longer require you to bring it to a dealer mechanic, but they do require some sort of "official" paperwork to show that you are keeping up on the regular things. This is usually a log or receipt that most quick change places do now.
In any case I'd double check all the legal crap before he touches the filter.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

Take graffitti remover to it and tell me what happens

All ACE Hardwares are different because they are all individually owned.

I just got my oil changed at Fast Jacks and it came with a car wash, so I applied that rubbing compound this afternoon. It helped some but I'll probably do it at least a two or three more times (over the course of several days) before it snows to get the really heavy stuff off. Then finish up with a good polish and wax if I can actually remove all of the oxidation.
