The brochures and website say that SFGAm is closed on Halloween. However, the Ricochet ride op yesterday was making announcements yesterday that they will be open from 5-10. Anyone hear anything more about this?
Update: Just got the e-mail from SFGAm today 10/27.
50% off on Food, Games, Merchandise, and Haunted Houses on Halloween. The only thing there is no discount on is the coin operated games (probably because it is a pain to reprogram the dozens upon dozens of them). Passholders enter for free, everyone else for $15. Last Blast Part Deux, indeed. Necropolis is open, but the e-mail does not mention if LAFF will still be playing.

Interesting... maybe it can be like Last Blast and have some cool discounts on food and merchandise. I'm surprised the park isn't advertising this with e-mail blasts or by handing out fliers (like they did with Last Blast).
I also heard this at the park yesterday. For some reason people were told not to announce it which IMHO doesnt make sense as im sure the park will annouce this soon enough as they dont want to pay the employee's if the park is empty.
It was decided TODAY that Six Flags Great America will be open Monday, October 31st from 5pm until 10pm. Select rides and attractions will be operating. No word was given on whether or not Fright Fest actors or haunted houses will be open.
Given the staffing this time of year I would say that major roller coasters and Fright Fest themed rides (i.e. Superstion and Terror Twister) will be operating, and possibly other attractions on a rotating basis. Don't expect shows to have more than one or two performances, maybe none at all.
Season pass and gate admission will be accepted, but tickets that are stamped "VALID UNTIL OCTOBER 30TH" may not be. Call the park with more info in regards to that.
Crowds are expected to be light. Take advantage of it.
Interesting....I asked about this yesterday (Saturday) at Guest Relations and they said they definitely were not open on Halloween. Of course, as we all know they seem to be the last to know sometimes.
I would really call the park before showing up on Halloween or watch for any official announcements. The website calendar still says closed.
good idea, but i'm sure they'll have it on Saturday I truly wanna see it again because I really miss the show because it rocks and I don't wanna miss out on it.
