Welcome to ShockWave please pull your harness down as far as it will go. While riding ShockWave please keep your hands and feet inside the car, and your head against the headrest, please hold on to all loose articles, especially hats and glasses. Enjoy your ride!

They take advantage of the situation to run into peeps Gfs? The kid is so lucky that I did'nt punch his rotten stinking lights out. I wanted to, and the only thing stopping me was getting arrested.

Level 2 means one of the characters was hurt by a guest. usually something serious like Punching, Knocking out, the Mace last season. Not sure what it was today. But the characters were on level two. All the vamps stayed around the new graveyard themeing in SSC, The Clowns all by KC, Necros where mostly behind fences, The pirates all stayed on that bridge, and the Aliens all stayed in the back by that truck. The Trolls mostly sat on the fence or played with they troll stuff back there. It was kind of boring. I spent most of the time sitting watchin scareacters in SSC.

Why does Fright Fest always have to stay understaffed?

The park is staffed by high school and college kids all summer long. Once the fall comes they all go back to school and most of the stuff is run at minimum staffing.

They shouldn't have fired me!!!!!!!!! Dumb reason anyway. But, yeah, although when I worked there, they paid the maintenance guys a whole BUTT LOAD of money to run rides. I was getting paid less that $7 an hour, and they got paid time and a half their regular pay, making it like $30 an hour to do the SAME JOB I WAS DOING!!!

I don't see too many adults working there mabye they don't pay enough to work there, probally cause it is a seasonal thing.

How much do they pay you workers an hour.

I was a hostess and made $7/hr. First year lead in my department (attractions) mad like $7.20/hr. Park services makes more, but I don't want to spend my summer picking up garbage. I know a lot of the entertainment people get paid more too. Most of the "adults" (cause everyone that worked with me was 18+) that work there are higher up so you don't always see them.

For those of you complaining, my suggestion is to fill out an application right now. I'm sure Six Flags isn't turning away applicants and certainly doesn't enjoy being this understaffed. I'd say basketballa1344 answered it pretty well.

I think it was for lying or defending someone who was lying, but don't quote me on that. I'm sure they aren't firing left and right, seeing how low staffing levels are right now.

Why does Six Flags stay understaffed? It beats me up. That's why we have volunteers come in at that time of year. But alas, that was powerless compared to the madhouse last Saturday! Yes, I do agree the majority, and I said MAJORITY, of the workers are either High School students or college students. There is a choice of college students going back to their universities come Fall or the high-students decide to quit when school resumes. I wish we had more full-season/year-round workers. I hear they've been dealing with this for over 17 years!

The volunteers come in to raise funds for themselves or a charity and have nothing to do with staffing levels. They are there equally throughout the year. They earn the same as everyone else at their level, but rather than the money going to them as a paycheck, a check is sent directly to the organization or charity equal to whatever they earned less taxes.

I was at the park on Saturday the 15th and let me tell you, it was INSANE. I have never seen the park so busy in all my life of going there. I haven't seen Bull's line using all the queue switchbacks since the thing was opened. I've NEVER seen American Eagle's line use all the queues under the tent. I waited at least (lost track) 3 hours for Batman. The line for IT was routed behind East River Crawler (or whatever they are calling it now, Monster Mash?) and back out into the walk way, through the entrance to Mardi Gras/Yankee Harbor and even further BACK into Yankee Harbor. I must say it was insane. A big problem was confusion with the line for the ride itself and the lines to the surrounding concession stands. Also, line jumping and smoking in line, two big no-no's around me and I saw it several times Saturday. We arrived before opening time and got on Raging Bull, Giant Drop, Viper, and Demon before going out to the parking lot to eat. That's when I knew it was going to be INSANELY busy. The lines to buy tickets went back across the road and even passed the first row of cars. EVER SEEN SOMETHING LIKE THIS? LOL Because I certainly haven't. From there the day just got worse. We DID get on King Chaos relatively quickly though, I might add. I WAS going to ask some of the characters if they were members of the board but never got around to it. If you saw me, I was the guy walking really fast with an angry look on his face. HAHAHAHA! Well hey to end this post good job to the characters, especially the trolls. For some reason I got a kick out of them. :)

If they are punching, kicking knocking us out or macing us, that is a level 3 situation. level 2 is more for large crowds, for us to basically get out of harms way....

I'm awares that the money goes to their organization, and they make a great help to boost up speed. I appreciate it. I was at the same level at two points. It's too bad there's not enough help at this time of year. But it's still better than nothing, right?

To Deadreb245: I'm not suprised. No, not at all. I was downright expecting a report like that. :)

I was there, and it was the worst Great America experience ever. Rides like American Eagle and Giant Drop, usaully 10 minute waits, were up to 2 hours. It was so crowed we couldn't even move. Even the haunted houses were over 2 hour waits. It was bad.
