Which Demon is better?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Dude, you do this all the time. I really doubt you know more about the Demon theming than I. If you have legit info, tell us or keep it to yourself. No need to add to our thirst for knowledge in my opinion.

(Don't start fights here people. This is exactly what got other topics locked becuase of the constant "Im right., No Im right., etc.".)

It was mentioned in the Fright Fest topic that the 3D logo is back on the trains! :D

I think of all the coasters, Demon, Whizzer, and American Eagle are in the most need of rehab. We have lost so much Demon theming, it's sad. Hopefully it will stay after fright fest is over this year. While Demon itself does not need a rehab (in fact the new paint looks awesome) I would like to see it with all of its original theming. I listened to the Demon soundtrack and I was actually laughing during the "scary" moments. Com'n, it's not any worse than Alien Encounters at Diseny. Oh wait, what am I talking about? Disney is the perfect park and no one would dare complain about them, while our park seems to get complaints left and right for some of the most trivial things. Like food prices...com'n people, it's a freaking amusement park, expect high prices for food. Especially if you have a season pass, you can't expect Six Flags to babysit you for a day and not get a cent in return. Sorry, that last part was pretty much completely off-topic.

Want to know the Demon theming. This is what I have been told, the old logos are back on the train, there will be lots of fog, the Demon song back in the queue, there will be flames in the station, and possibly more, that is as much info as I have.

i think this seasons demon theming was pathetic, it was more of a park than a demon, with all the nice plants and trees, there was NOthemeing at all!
i'm rocking the suburbs, just like quiet riot did...

More theming was added! The cool drain pipe with the glowing red eyes staring at you is back on the sign. The chaser lights and fog are back in the tunnels. Thank You SFGAm!!

I really hope the park didn't change it so much to actually scare kids and parents alike. In my opinion, that ride is more a family orientated ride like Whizzer. It doesn't mean that I don't like the ride though.

Our Demon does have a steeper drop, other than that, they are the same ride.

Did they ever modify the drop? Because the drop on Turn of the Century doesnt look steep at all.

maybe when they added the loops, they dug into the ground making the drop alittle longer (or slower into the ground) making it appear steeper when its really just a slightly longer drop

P.S. demon Themeing: <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v338/Technop/DemonNewTheme.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com">

*a drain pipe with rats all over where the flower bed was
*fog everywhere
*a cool logo on front of each train
*flames on station
*fog in the tunnels
*tiki torches everywhere
*blood pools under corks
*demon song in quene
*red eyes glowing at you in first tunnel
*red lights everywhere.

The PGA one looks older. So that photo may of been before they changed the drop.
