I am curious, how you guys/girls judge on who you can mess with and who you can't? The reason I bring this up, is that when we go to FF, my wife always jokes around saying that they (the scaractors) can't mess with her, because our two young kids are with us. I can't wait until Friday when my wife, her friend, and I will be going without the kids with us. I am going to do my best to make sure she regrets those comments.
One more question if I may, what is the age were you can scare, or mess, with the patrons?

Well, I am not a scaractor, but if you shout "Hey, you! You scare the living daylights out of ____!" and point to him/her they're bound to get chased.
 Nice prank to play on your wife (maybe take the kids to yourself first).
They will go after little kids it wouldn't bother them one bit.

I'm not a scaractor, but I think everyone is fair game to be scared at fright fest. Just like the Halloween movie tagline "Everyone is entitled to one good scare".

Funny thing actually happened when my brother went on Sunday the 9th.....his 2 yr old Tyler wasn't scared of the creatures at all, when they tried to scare him, he just laughed. But while they were "visiting" the trolls (Tyler was actually seeking out the creatures at that time), one of the trolls scared a young girl and she ran away and slipped and fell on her butt. My brother said that it almost looked like the troll was debating helping her, he looked around to see if anyone was watching him, but then noticed that first aid already saw it and was acting on it, then he turned and ran off, not breaking character at all.
But since they tried to scare Tyler, a 2 yr old,(though not nearly as aggressivly as older folks....I don't think they care too much about age, but I don't think they want to absolutly TERRIFY a small child into crying, just a shriek is fun. There's no descrimination of who we scare.
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.
Actually, when someone specifically asks me to go "Get" someone and scare them, I usually become rude and unhelpful.
I'm on the street to provide some entertainment. That can mean just waving to the kids, smack talking the teens who try to start something, or chasing and scaring just about anybody. You can usually see it in the eyes whether someone coming *can* be scared or not. Ruk
There isnt a set scare list.
Characters go for who ever they feel they could get a good scare out of. I know when I was a character I would go for the ones who thought they couldn't be scared. As for little kids and their parents... If the kids are really young and they look terrified I leave them alone. But the parents I'd go after. You can't always hide behind the little ones.

well well well.... fright fests biggest dissapoint ment since Jennys nightmare is talking again.... Let me give you some pointers.............. SHUT UP. You are weak sauce.. no substance and a rather bad taste in the rest of the casts mouth. We could put you in a skirt and sprinkle you with glitter slap some wings on ya and there would be no difference in your charicter. REMEMBER THAT ONE SHOW WITH THAT OLD LADY THAT SAID "you are the weakest link............ GOODBYE" take the advice and quit. U are unloved unwanted and a washed up pop and scare that should have never left the house. DROP PORTRAIT IS RIGHT ARROUND THE CORNER ALTHOUGH I DOUBT YOU COULD EFFECTIVELY OPPERATE SUCH A COMPLEX DEVICE. All I can hope for is you to give up and pass the tourch to a performer who wont be cuddles the fairy troll. Grab you glitter bag, Take your exit interview and go cry yourself to sleep. well if being a "high profile" troll means breaking character and flirting with obvious 16 year old fright fest groupies, i guess you are in a league of your own.......... oh wait dog boy been there done that notice he aint back and soon you wont be either. As far as the other trolls go they do there job and entertain the guests. You are a cancer of the production and cheapen the overall quality of the show. Continue matching wits you are down 2 to 0 wanna go for the 3rd strike??? Well i shouldnt hope for a challenge from a store bought troll who lacks what it takes to make it as a true high profile. As far as bad mouthing necropolis performers you wouldnt make it one day as a real performer the kids that work necro have more talent and desire that you can imagine and you are waisting a position that they would kill to be in. I have not broken character all year. Each time I speak on the street, its in the troll voice, even when friends, relatives, groupies, or staff is talking to me.
As far as I know, there are NO 16 yr old groupies talking to any of the trolls this year on the bridge. Even if someone I know comes by, I don't stay with them the whole time they are out there. I keep doing my job. Ask Skip, he saw that on Monday. Store bought? I sew most of the stuff I wear for the first layer, I knit my own chain mail. I sewed some of the stuff that the other trolls are still wearing. I scrounge for props for them too. What I buy, is the leather that makes the character look more like a troll than a football player wearing duct tape. You want to slam me just because I'm not a leatherworker and had to pay a craftsman? If I cheapen the show, why did I get picked as 1 of only 4 actors to open the show at front gate on preview night? I didn't bad mouth any necros. I said that it would be infringing on their bit to turn Trolls into jump and scare characters. That wasn't a slam on necros. Sure, they have talent and desire, and most of them will excell in the show, just as I did. Just as Mouse did, and paper boy, and Splenge. What have you done for the show lately? So what have i done lately..... hmmm MY JOB. You do realize you are the joke of your group and a running joke of Fright fest in general dont you. As for the comment of not breaking character.......... Daily and it can be confirmed by many groupies and fellow cast members. You were taken to the enterence for opening day because you are safe harmless and sub par as a performer. They would rather get the dissappointment out of the way by showing the lame troll right off the bat and let the real trolls prepare for the run. Also as a performer at FRIGHT fest you are responsible for entertaining guests and at FRIGHT fest that means you scare people, granted all photo op's are to be permited to the guest but that is not your main concern. ITS IN YOUR CONTRACT, READ THE BOOK. I CAN HAVE COPIES MADE AND HIGHLIGHT THE POINTS IM DRIVING HOME IF YOU LIKE. I am done trying to voice reason with VANITY the SMURF TROLL. Continue believing that your sooooooo great, but you should really be carefull with your inner group drama singling out members of your immedate group will leave you with no one to back you up. Whats the deal with you being behind a fence for 1 1/2 hours??? Is that entertaining??? I do know alot more than you may think.
