i called sfgam 2day and they said that the fastlane price was raised from $10 to $15. Are their more rides you can use it for? And is the design any different?Moderator's note: Please spell out words and use correct grammar. "La/\/\3rZ" are not tollerated on this board. This is your only warning.

http://www.sfgamworld.com/phpBB2/viewto ... Dejavugirl said that they did you up to 15 dollars and have a new design. And nope, the rides are the same as last year except I believe they added S:UF sometimes. I would check some of the older threads, because I know that the exact rides are there somewhere.

If you dissect DejaVuGurl's Trip Report, you can see that she only used her Fastlane on four rides. So, I'm thinking that FastLane can still only be used on four rides. There must have been an increase in price from $12 to $15 for whatever reason SFGAm has to give.

I was at Great America on Tuesday, 6/18 and purchased a Fastlane Pass. It is $15 dollars and can only be used 4 times. This was my first trip to Great America since they instituted this program so I'm not sure what the passes looked like before. The pass is on glossy paper a little wider and longer than a credit card with a green background and a cartoon mouse on the front (I think Speedy Gonzalez is the name of the mouse). At the bottom are 4 punch spots corresponding to 1 ride and it is valid from 11 AM to 8 PM on the day it was issued. If memory serves the pass was usable on all of the Rollercoasters except for the Eagle, Superman, Deja Vu (because it was closed), and it was also usable on the Giant Drop and Roaring Rapids.I used the pass three times on Raging Bull and once on Vertical Velocity. At the end of the day I felt as if it was a waste of money because the park was pretty empty and I think I may have bypassed a combined total of 1 hour of waiting in line. On a crowded day though I can see where this would be a good buy.Superman does not have a Fastlane at this time. My wait for Superman was exactly one hour getting in the queue at 7:45 PM with two trains running.

The mouses name is Speedy Gonzalez but that doesnt really matter. I talked to a few ride ops at S:UF and they told me that they will add it to fastlane in a 3-5 years. I think thats pretty stupid.

That's kind of dumb.....in my opinion they won't need fastpass in 3-5 years because by that time, there will hardly be any line for it at all. There will be another major attraction that will attract crowds of people by then.

SUF will probably still be a little popular by then. Look at Batman, it's been around for 11 years and it's still really popular.

I doubt that you're going to have to need fastpass for S:UF because even when the line is out of all the queue lines its still only about a 1 to 1 and a half hour wait.

B:TR is way better than S:UF. in my opinion S:UF will lose popularity pretty fast.

Ya i agree B:TR is always thrilling and exciting while S:UF loses that thrilling and exciting feeling after about 10 rides.
