Being one of the new groups this year I would love to hear what people think. Good and bad. Don't pull your punches.

I was there Sunday...walked around the park 10 or so times and didn't even see the pirates until I walked past the parade.

2 things:

You guys look great. You have probably the best makeup appliances used in the park this year. Your a good crew, and you have a hard working lead who cares a lot about the show. Just the idea that there are walk around characters with movie level makeup showing protruding skulls, lost ears, decayed eyes, and hanging aftermath and they keep it up for nearly 9 hours each Saturday is incredible.

On Monday, my wife and daughter came to the park, and circled it 3 times and did not get to see any of you. Early, I know she missed you because she started at 10, and your group doesn't hit the streets until later. Later, I don't know why people miss you. Maybe you could change up which area within Yankee Harbor you congregate. Get the characters closer to the main traffic (assuming that is the issue). If you focus on an exit, you can be seen by all the people going past to Mardi Gras, or to Yukon.

I'm usually over by the bridge to Yukon. Monday we were down 1 pirate.

I try to stay in the high traffic between the bridge and the swings.

Thanks Ruk, we are just trying to do our best. I would love a following like the Tolls and Clowns have. It takes time. (my feet are killin me)

Ah, if you are near the bridge, where are the others?. The Trolls work as a pair and threesome. Its hard to miss 3 trolls near each other. However, 1 alone could be missed. I've gotten quite a few startle-scares just out of people nearly running me down when I return from break alone, and they are rubbernecking at everything else but me. The don't notice me until its too late. Do the pirates work together, or as 5 solo-ists?

Yeah I gotta say, that I love walking past you guys when I get the chance. I say when I get the chance because I usually pass up your area to go through necro. when I do walk by I'd say you guys are proably the scariest characters secended only to the gravedigger in Necro. Check On my site. I probably have a pic of you, I know I have all five pirates on there. (Or if I haven't I just haven't posted them yet, I know I have pictures of all five from the ZJ)

The pirates were my favorite from those few years ago (two three?) and I really missed them!

The make up is absolutely awesome, but I've not seen quite as any actual scares from the pirates as I have from the clowns and the vampires. Perhaps you guys should get some props that have a scary sound or come up with some fun skits or something to get people watching.

It's spelt "Brain" and that wasn't a pirate. He's the graveyard janitor from necro. I noticed that they asked santa and his hoes to be in the parade when they were short a clown, and also the Graveyard janitor on monday.

/\ The janitor guy in Necropolis? He was very talented. It was a long fight but he finally convinced me to lick that brain. I was number 30-something (He got a chant started with nearby guests. It was actually pretty fun...I wasn't going to look like a wimp so I started compromising with going in haunted houses instead...but in the end I just licked it.) Ewww...

We cover each other and practice good double and triple scares. But most of the time we wander.

Of course, that's because I'm a Troll, and our rivalry is practically mandated in the performance contract. At the end of the day, I'd buy any of you a grog at the pub.

But at the park? It's ON, ya buttheaded buccaneers. Bring it.
