Aim Virus

Does anyone know how to get rid of the aim virus. What happens is when ur away it will send a message to everyone on ur byuddy list telling them to download a picture of you. And then if they click on it theyll download a virus.

Ummm...no. Contact AIM directly if you think there is a bug/virus going around through their software.

Man, that thing got all over this summer. Download Spybot ASAP and run it, I'm pretty sure thats how I ended up getting rid of it after my sister clicked on it about 12 times. :roll:

RUN ANTIVIRIUS SOFTWARE!

I cannot stress this enough for an average (aka not expert) user with computers. You can get free virius software. They are getting trickier and trickier to catch and get rid of.

If you need antivirius software I suggest

AVG (free)
PCillin (I don't know if this is free)
Norton (pay-very good)
Macafee (pay-also good)
Aero737

sometimes those aren't enough to get rid of the problem, but start with those. if its not enough. you'll have to know which virus it is and then look up removal tools online.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.
