Didn't Ameri-Go-Round come from another park and wasn't it originally built in 1910?
Came from Fontaine Ferry park in Louisville, Kentucky.

Where did the one in Santa Clara come from? Was it new or another relocated carousel?
Just to avoid confusion with this thread. ....Ameri-go-round was the carousel at SFGAm that was removed prior to Revolution being installed. The Santa Clara park only has the Columbia Carousel which is the 'Twin" to the Columbia at SFGAM. I don't think PGA ever had another carousel besides Columbia. "Heavily medicated for your safety"
No, they had an Ameri-Go-Round too. Drop Zone Stunt Tower replaced it in 1995.
