Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
The front pool is always themed well for fright fest!

Yeah I loved the cold. I think the cold scared more people away from the park than frighfest itself. I don't really care how well the theming was though, I still got some rides on my favorite coasters.

On cold Last Blast days people are wishing for the 80* weather and in the 80* humid weather people are wishing for the freezing days... what a picky society we live in.

Yeah I do tend to like the cold better. You can only take so many clothes off at an amusement park but you can put on as many as you need to stay warm!

I was with family at CP this year and my 50 year old cousin passed out and was taken to the first aid center and they said she had heat stroke. That is nothing to mess around with! She was okay, and an hour later she said, okay, well now is a good time to get in line for Wicked Twister because I have some more down time! lol

Someone, a worker, died at SFWoA this summer. They said he had stopped sweating he was so hot. He passed out from the heat and couldn't be saved at the hospital. It's sad that people don't take breaks when they need to.

Yeah... one of the employees at SFOG died this summer. Cause he went into the restricted sections by BTR and went under the track and got hit in the head by dangling feet. That's just crazy...

But did he die right away or was he on life support for weeks and totally felt the pain without dying on impact?

I think he died right away. I'm not sure, I can't remember what they said.

Not necesarialy if ppl can survive bullets to the head theres a pretty good chance they could survive a blow to head by a couple of feet at 60 but it also depends where he got hit but its still sad
