The sox defeated the tigers today , clinching the AL Central title. Go Soxs! I smell a world series victory...

God hope so, nice to see a Chicago team make the playoffs. (Last ones were Bulls, Cubs, Bears and Sox)- Since 99. The Cubs were the only ones to advance, though.

Have you seen the way they have finished out this season? I'm not hating on them, I just don't think they have any gas left in the tank to make a serious run to the World Series.

Why don't you get your head out of your ass and just appreciate that a Chicago sports team is possibly going somewhere. If the Cubs are so much better, why are they not clinching something? And why are they probably the first baseball team to go down in history to choke the worst trying to make it to the world series? Gonna blame the goat or the baseball that was blown up?  I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

It amazes me Cubs fans would rather see any team but the Sox win a World Series. This city hasn't won a World Series in nearly 100 years, and we have two teams...which makes that horriable.
What good does it do to be picky about which team wins it, as long Chicago wins. Go White Sox! Go Bulls!

Usually I just go for whoever gets closer to the playoffs. In '03 I considered myself a Cubs fan. Now, two years later, the Sox are my #1 team.

Yes. All the Sox fans I know despise the Cubs and root against them no matter what. Example: 2003 Choke vs. FLA.
