I went to the Lake County FairGrounds website to see how the Dungeon of Doom looks like, and I saw a link saying "visit our 2nd attraction Fallen Giant/Internal Nightmare at Six Flags Great America." Is this the first year for this attraction because I dont remember seeing or hearing anything about this. Does anybody know exactly what is? I tried reading about it at the Six Flags link and couldnt find anything.
p.s. For anybody who has gone to the Dungeon of Doom and Fright Fest whats scarier? Because I heard the one at Lake County Fair ( Dungeon of Doom ) was scary but I never really been there. Yet Fright Fest is scary to me so whats your opinion?
No matter how hard it is...Never EVER give up. The real failure is those who dont try.
I think there's a topic similar to this one. But anyway, Fallen Giant looked like a walk-through maze that gets scary at night. This is the first year it will be at SFGAm.

The fallen giant is new at our park. I was at a buyout on Friday and i walked by it to see what it looked like. The giant was in that space between Stargate and Sky Trek Tower. It looked inflated like a Dino Jump and you enter through a hole in his head.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
I just found fallengiant.com (that's exactly the website) and it looks like you explore it in the day time, but it gets really scary at night!!! They have pics on there and it looks pretty big. Can't wait to check it out.

its not gonna be there. it was pulled back by the fallen giant people. so now there just gonna make home town square and orleans place really scary. HTS being area 51 and OP being seven sins cemetary.
I just thought I would fill everyone in that the Fallen Giant is a part of Fright Fest 2006. It is currently being inspected by Gurnee and should be open to guests on October 8th. From 5pm-park close, it will be an all-out scare attraction with "creatures" inside.
If it's anything like the Beast made by the same company, your first guess would be the most accurate one (and the Beast even farts on you on the way out)
Only problem with these huge inflatables(the Beast is like 100 feet long) is any dumbass with a pocket knife can cause a whole lot of expensive damage.

As far as this whole giant not going to be there stuff, i was just there friday and it was completely set up, line and all so i don't know where you heard that it was taken back.

Screamscape said it wasn't going to be there. But they were just basing it off the six flags site which no longer mentions it

More then likely not but someone could get somthing sharp in if they wanted to. Heck, a thumbtack, a pencil, pen, or somthing along those lines could still do a lot of damage to inflatables like this.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/
The reason it is no longer on the Six Flags site was already said. It is because Fallen Giant has it's own website. We are still having it. According to some who have been to SFGAM in the past week, the attraction is already setup and ready to go.
About the sharp objects. I bet that this attractions material is made so nothing can really penetrate it. Because this attraction goes to fairs, and fairs dont have metal detectors like SFGAM. So theres more of a chance there for it to happen. So I'm sure that it would take something big to penetrate this inflatable.
