Did they change the logo where it says Fright Fest...like did they change the font?

The best scare that I've ever gotten was by a pop machine near IW. I went to put my money in, and this Zombie guy jumped off the top of it and scared the crap out of me! I ran all the way to the enterance of Logger's Run! And later my friend said she'd seen him all along.

I'm thinking No... I frequently see werewolves perched on Trash cans though.

I've seen the trolls on top of pop machines by the troll bridge, but that's about it.

I think it might have been a troll, but that was a few years back, so I don't remember it that clearly. In the end, I had to laugh... what surprised me most was that I didn't see him up there. :?

Was at a buyout in the park today and this is what I saw:

01. The Fallen Giant was inflated, right next to Space Shuttle America.
02. The blood pond had not been dyed, and besides rope on all the fences, and the black and orange signs, you would have never known Fright Fest started in a week - They have a lot to do, in my opinion.
03. There is a Texas Chainsaw Massacre van right by the Pictorium Entrance. Lots of blood on all the windows, which is a nice touch :)
04. Where Elvis usually sings daily, outside Triple Play, they had a very nice set up of the Fright Fest witches. They played some somewhat Halloween music, and every once in a while played some Terror Twister! tunes.
05. Love at First Fright sign is up.
06. Southwest Scare-itory sign is up.
07. Terror Twister! sign is up.
08. Trailblazer was down - perhaps for Sleepy Hallow? :)
09. Demon has the old logo on the trains! The whole line que is going to rock! Lots of red lights - everywhere - and tons of those tiki torches. Should be interested. It didn't look like they were done yet.
10. Hellevators sign was not up, but the speakers were there.
11. Terror Twister's! inside is all ready to rock, except the fog tubes weren't hooked to anything.
12. Monster Market's sign(s) were all up.
13. Mayor Slayer's hurse was outside Triple Play.
14. Tiny is up - along with the babies.
15. King Kong is on STT.
16. Necropolis sign was up, and you couldn't walk through. They had it locked up.
17. Pumpkins, corn stalks, rope, tiki torches scattered everywhere. Things hanging from trees, etc.

Can't really think of anything else. If I do, I will post. Let me just say again, I was at the park and saw all these things - these are not rumors :)

1 more week!

Did you see anything done with Hometown Square about the alien theme?

Not really. The lights were different colors, that is about it. I rode Condor, and down behind it was all the area 51 props. Aliens, UFO's, etc.

No, it was definitely there. There was a employee outside it. It was blocked off. I didn't go and ask them about it at all. But yes, you walk in through the head, looks kinda weird. Hopefully it'll be interesting.

For area 51 will there be alien characters actually running around or is it just props?

Either way sounds awesome!

Fallen Giant is a lot bigger than I thought

Yes, there will be live Characters from JPM in Area 51.

Since they really don't do anything in CF, I think they should make it the "Ride Graveyard" Put pieces of old rides. (Power Diver, hay baler, Sky Whirl, A-Merri-Go-Round) And have big gigantic Gravestones For them.

Thats a good idea^ Either that or make CF a circus freak show...Iron Wearwolf can be a character with Demon and weird circus freaks. The clowns can stay at Mardi Gras.

R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

yea when we were at orientation afer we were allowwed in the park we watched love at first fright which was awesome and we talked to the guys in front of fallen giant. They took it off the website because fallen giant is a seperate company and has its own website i believe its at fallengiant.com where it explains everything and where it is going to be because it travels a lot. But it is huge as directorguy said me and him took pics it was cool. im so excited for fright fest its so close and rehearsals are already underway!!!

I love the trolls! Are you guys still on the CF-HTS bridge. Or have you been moved. I think the games + You guys would be awkward. On the JPM website it just says "Illinois Trollway"

We Trolls™ are locked and loaded once again...And yeah, we're gonna be haunting our usual digs between the Orbit / north entrance to Southwest Territory, and the entrance to the Demon.

Here's a visual for the curious:

We've got some lovely surprises in store for all the kiddies this year. We hope you'll all come out and see us.

I thought they got rid of those old logos a long time ago. Glad to hear some of Demon's old charm is coming back!

A quick fright fest update. Nothing special but enough to get me more excited for this weekend. The sky trek tower was down all day and the gorilla was just hanging in mid air, and tonight they finally had the fire in the observation deck, along with the bodies on the windows and the long stretch of smoke coming off of the tower.
