Fright Fest on Halloween?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Do you think SFGAm should be open on Halloween day? I know SFMM is open that day from 10-10. I was just wondering if they were opened on Halloween in the past or anything. Thanks!

Nope read the dates on the home page Oct. 8th through Oct. 30th.

it was opened last halloween because it fell on a sunday. this year it won 't. I think it would be cool if it was on open on Halloween, but if that's during the weekdays, most people won't be there, and it'd be a total waste of time. If it falls on the weekends, it's awesome, but if not, then screw it being open.

Sorry about any confusion... I knew it wouldn't be open on Halloween this year, I just was wondering why it was open on Halloween at MM but not here.

Most likely it's because SFMM is in a much bigger market in a warmer climate and the fact that they're still open even after Fright Fest.

Well they aren't a seasonal park. Why they are still opening on a Monday is beyond me, espicially from 10-10.

And while their market might be bigger, they can't draw from it easily.

Agreed w00dland. It didn't make any sense to me why they were open on a Monday from 10-10 when kids are in school. :?

Yeah but old people and people with no jobs go there. It closes at 10 for the idea of Halloween but it wont probly close that late for the rest of the season. There might be some schools that go there on Halloween too though.
