LAFF might be showing as it did last year for the same weekend.

I just got back from Taco Bell, and they were displaying the coupons with the 1/2 off 10/8/05 - 10/16/05 and $8 off 10/21/05 - 10/31/05.

Also, I believe the Buyout on 10/7/05 will get to see Fright Fest with characters, but not the buyouts before that.

Today there were some supports on top of the sky trek tower for the gorilla. I would expect that thing to be up there within the next 72 hours.

The buyout on 10/7 is rumored not to have all of the fright fest theming. It hasn't it past years. I believe the haunted houses are closed and the characters are not out.

Hey all, newbie around here, and a huge fan, just found these forums. I have a question. I am going to a buyout day on October 2nd...(this Sunday) I assume most of the preparations for Fright fest are done, as far as theming the park goes, but will any characters at all be out? I suppose if not, I'm gonna have to come back at the end of the month some time. Mittal Steel is the group who bought out the park, my Fiance's Dad works for them and he gave me the tickets. I love the way the park looks during fright fest, and I surely hope that they have the halloween music pumping through, even without the scaracters that would be enough. I will be taking digital photos, so stand buy for pictures!

Thanks,

Gabe

To the October 7th disscussion: Yes the characters will out, and haunted houses. And all of the theming should be up.

And Also I doubt that much if any of the Fright Fest stuff will be up fro the Oct 1 and 2 buyouts. Except all the orange and black flags, and the pumpkins and cornstalks.

Just by experience, the houses are running and the characters are out. This is our second performance night (dress rehearsal is the night before).
There might be some things that are not running but all the characters are there.

2 days!!!

So I am confused now, tomorrow I will be there for a buyout ~ Will there be anything going on? Any rides operating under Haunting conditions? I was thinking no, but now I am not sure.

No. Non-whatsoever. They have have started decorating and such, but nothing Fright Ful. (IE. Terror Twister and Rue Le Morgue but without lights and music) stuff like that.
