Gay marriage is discusting and sac religious, and i will not support a push to legilize it.

And women are not treated equal in the Catholic church, should we forbid them to hold political office.

I cannot believe the hate twords other Americans from the Republican party. Disgusting. Oh but wait, they gotta support equal rights in Iraq.

What is an insult, is how Some Liberals are trying to change America for the worse.

Examples like this are Minor, but The Explosion Illegal Immigration, our poor boarders and other disgusting crimes against America will cause unimaginable damage if left unchecked.

What happened today in SF is only the beginning of Liberals forcing there sick and disgusted opinions on the rest of civil society :)

I was just reading an article about this on Chicagotribune.com and
guess who did this, Atheists!

I guess that they have to force their views on us. You talk about
Republicans forcing Religion on us, there are atheists forcing their
views about religion on us. Oh, but I bet to you Liberals that it's
ok for Atheists to force their views on us, but wrong for Christians

Huh, they arn't forcing their religon on anyone. They are removing it and all religous statements from the Pledge. It isn't like they are adding "Under No God"

Why is this SUCH a big deal to you people. It's not like saying Chrisianity doesn't exist. You still believe it and that's all that matters.

If you really believe that God supports the USA then...ha...this country rarely follows any of the religous teachings of the bible.

It's a big deal because they are Christians and they believe that is the only religion and that everybody else should be Christians.

Just like Republicans and Democrats.

Well, I'm out. I'm done arguing with you people. From now on I'm just going to ignore these --although that probably makes me a Terrorist.

Mike, you enjoy making these topics to try and impress your online friends.

Done..my opinion is just as valid as yours. You just cant learn to accept the fact that people have other veiws than you. I accept many conservative views, but you people just wont budge.

And whats the point? I got much better things to do in my life than argue with a bunch of religon fed teenagers on the internet.

This was correct until the mid 1950's. The words under God were actually added to the original pledge by an act of congress. I believe it was in the Eisenhower Administration, but I don't have the time to look it up now. This act of congress is the basis for these lawsuits as having children pledge the allegiance "under God" could be construed as a state endorsement of a Christian religion. I was once told that this is the reason that Jehovah Witnesses do not participate in the pledge.

I personally think that unless all Children are forced to recite the pledge then there is no basis for the ruling as the pledge is voluntary. I also think that children should be tought the meaning of those words that they recite in the morning before they decide whether or not to recite them. Instead we have a mass group of impressionable young minds reciting words without thought. This leads to other dangerous behaviors later on in life.

BTW America did vote for Bush twice - only once did he actually get a majority of the popular vote though.

Oh yes, all the teenagers, so I guess me being 25 makes me a teenager!

Remember Aero, everyone who debates on this, are not teenagers.
And you know what. There are plenty of teenagers who have solid
views politically and know what they are talking about.

In this topic, you havn't been debating against a 13 or 14 year old.
You've been debating me, a 25 year old adult, who has strong opinions
and views and who knows what he is talking about.

You bowing out of this debate, shows that you can't handle debating
against someone who is older than you!

I'm not religon fed! I belive what i belive because i know its RIGHT! I wasnt fed it! I read it in the bible. Its the ultimate truth, weather you recgonize it as one or not. It is the ultimate truth! Every thing begins and ends with God!

You go after me because you are to much of a coward to go after your own debating ability level. Yet i still give you a run for your money.

I dont think aero likes history, he had to leave the debate to go back to his own Fantasy of "liberal land" where jon kerry is president. But God loves us and we are far away from his Fantasy.

Thats aero and this is life. (wallgreens comercial)

WTF is a fantisy?

The only Fantasy in this topic is everybody believing they are right and everybody who doesn't agree with them or have the same belief as them is wrong.

Sorry, I got better things to do. I'm not backing out of these fights because I don't agree with myself. You people can do NOTHING to change my beliefs.

The fact that I got a life outside of this damned debate makes me weak? Please.

I live in no fantasy land. I live here in the real world.

How was me backing down to you related to your age? I had no clue you were 25. A majority of the people on here are indeed teenagers.

I'm done with these debates because you people are too ignorant to see the other side of the point.

Now you people can continue yelling at your computer screen. I got better things to do in my life.
