Paper on SFGAm

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I have an assignment in which I must write a paper about anything. I was thinking about doing it on the height limit and how they should remove it, but I can't come up with enough details. Anyone have any supporting details to that or a good idea for a topic?

I know that they have a 125 height limit. Anything taller than that and the park has to have a permit. They can't build over 310 feet (The height of the Sky Trek Tower) this is due to the noise level of the coasters. They have this system for nearby residents. I know that if they put sand in the track of the coaster it will mute the sound a lot more. This is all that I can think of, I hope this helps a little.

Well there could be plenty of different topics available, but it depends on what class it is for. What class are you writing this paper for?

Advanced Composition and Literature. I think I have decided to say that SFGAm should add a mini golf course and reasons why. I might need some help with the reasons for support though. I am currently looking at the topic, and I think I might have those three reasons be the main points.

The mini-golf idea would work great! I spent about 10 minutes trying to come up with a different topic, but couldn't think of one.

They say it's 330 feet, But in the board meeting that I read they said 310 feet. I also saw 310 feet posted in the news paper.

You can write on the history of Great America. From the Marriot days to now. You can talk about how B&M got their start at GA with Iron Wolf, and how Batman was the first of its kind.

The Cabin goes up 310 feet, the flag pole reaches 330.

If you look at it though it looks like a lot more than a 20 foot difference between the top of the flag pole and the cabin. I'm probably wrong but I think that it only goes up like 250 feet. When your at the top look at the Giant Drop (227 feet). You don't appear to be much higher than it at all.

No offensie, but you should write your own paper, not have others spoon feed ideas to you. You wont get any thing out of this assingment if others give you your ideas and content.

Why not? It's not like we're writing it for him. It's always good to bounce ideas off of eachother.

we're not actually writing the paper for him, just tossing him ideas, there's nothing wring with that.

keeping on topic, i like RBull4Life's idea, write about the history of GAm. That would definatley make for an intresting paper.
