Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

It looks like the Character list has been updated at:

http://www.jpmproductions.com/sfga02.html

A quick review shows changes in Hometown Square and Necropolis. There may be more, but that is what I saw so far.

S. Claws? Is that what I think it is?! ....no...it can't be...what I'm thinking of is owned by Disney (Touchstone).

Im sure disney made sure that the characters that were used in Nightmare are exclusive to them for use in theme parks etc. With the amount of merchandise they have in the parks and the nightmare overlays of Haunted Mansion that they have at TDL and DL(by the way the x-mas show of haunted mansion is AWESOME) they wouldnt allow someone else to use these characters, escpeically a company as inept as SF .

If any of you recall the carousel that used to be in the County Fair...durring Fright Fest it used to play the song This is Halloween from The Nightmare Before Christmas. This was allowed because the songs are owned by Buena Vista corp. not Disney, and the movie itself and the characters are not a Disney creation. SO...technically the characters could be seen at Six Flags. I mean after all, Universal characters could be seen at the park this year. Tommy Pickles, Angelica Pickles, Arnold, and Jimmy Neutron all made apperances at the Water Park. Though it is very, very doubtful that would happen.

But I do think it would be, very...very...very awesome! I for one would love to see an Oogie Boogie.

OR! What would be FANTASTIC and well within grasp would be a Gossamer costume to join the Loony Tunes....you all know Gossamer...the Big-Red-Tennis-Shoe-Wearing-Monster! That would be great!

They always advertise Scare Free Zones, IE, yukon and County. Those are the only sections without Characters. Except CP, which will obviously have the big blood pong graveyard thing going for it.

I thought I heard that song at the end of the day like that Merry-go-round song during the regular time (non-Freight Fest).

I just read the press releases for this year's Fright Fest and I must say I'm excited. Superstition will be back and they are playing Haunted Castle 3-D IMAX! They also have a new "Fallen Giant" attraction. Sounds like a solid year! If you want to read the press release, it is here: http://www.sixflags.com/parks/greatamer ... 1305b.html

The new movie sounds like it might be good to see, "Haunted Castle 3-D IMAX ." Forget Nascar, this sounds much better.

Yea, i'm also interested in the Fallen Giant. It sounds like a maze (looking at the family fun part of the FF press release) that comes alive with characters at night. I'll have to hear other people's opinions on it before I shell out the money to do it though. But yea, reading the press release closer, it says "With all new haunted attractions, intense fog and additional themed areas..." That intense fog makes it sound as if the midways will actually have fog this year. That would be awesome. You wouldn't be able to see where the scareactors are coming from. This year should definately be interesting...

Wow, that thing looks impressive. I'm interested to know, where they are going to put this thing? Maybe in Hurricane Harbor? I can't really think of any places in the park that would have the space required for this thing...
