American Eagle's Silver Season

Since AE is going to be 25 years old next season, does anyone know whether or not Eagle will be refurbished or not? It really needs it. Some of the wood looks rotted and it BADLY needs new red and blue paint. The trains could use a good touch up too.

It more than likely will be. They already did retracking on Blue's side, and now Red looks to be closed for what may be the rest of the season, so they will be doing some work on that as well. Also they have been repainting it, and it's starting to look much nicer.

Technically, this year (2005) is Eagle's 25th anniversary(Silver) based on years of operation.

I hope it will definatley get painted, as we've all probally said before: it needs paint.

I think it will be painted, along with trackwork on Red, but that's about it.

There is talk of putting the eagle model on display in the tent next year though.

Other than that I dont believe the park is planning anything special.

They should also spend some time fixing the queue area since it looks like it is run down. Specifically in the areas between the bridge and the station.

Replace them first! They are so rotted out they are sagging so low in places I just want to throw a rock at it and watch it mush apart. (sry this sentence sounds weird...)

I've seen them, some are so bad that a few have already broken.
