I recently came across Google Earth. It's awesome, but kinda strange at the same time.
I am surprised though, with technology being as advaced as it is, that the map hasn't been updated.
But yeah, it's a cool program. It's way better than MapQuest, as far as getting directions is concerned. in my opinion.
Google Earth is different from all those online services. Google Earth is a program that you download which streams the pics onto your computer whenever you need them. however, it has a whole bunch of other features as well. if anyone is familiar with Keyhole, it is the same as Google Earth, they just changed the name and dropped the premium price.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.
Google did the same with Picasa, however, there was never a charge for Picasa. Personally, I think Google should stick with online content rather than software. I don't know why, it just seems like they do a better job at developing online content over software. (Picasa never ran well on my computer after downloading Google's version, it always froze up.)
You will get a choice of two addresses (it uses the same database as Google Maps http://maps.google.com/ ) and you have to choose one. You can add it as a favorite place so that you don't have to keep typing it in. Also, if you go to Tools > Options, you can set the zoom speed to very high, so there's not that flight-over feeling that (in my opinion) wastes time.
