[quote="SFGAm Shock Wave"]Vertical Velocity reopened today. I went on it and yes, I still hate it. I'm suprised, it opened right on time this morning. There was a mechanic watching it though.

Great to hear that it opened and please don't ride it of you hate and then tell us you rode it makes no sense, like we heard enough of how people hate V2 but they ride it.

1,00?

He never said anything bad he didn't critisize anyone, all he was saying was that he doens't like the ride and he is entitled to his opinoin. You all seemed to have read the post wrong. I think the highlight was "V2 opened" not that it's not his favorite rides.

No, but you could have written something like:

"I rode it today, it was awesome! I was on the second ride."

Rather than shouting in all caps with about a thousand (sarcasm) exclamation points. It makes your post look unintelligent.

missed a post way up reguarding the rides issues in relation to safety.

All the issues on the ride would not endanger riders in the least, it's all electrictal, and station design/operation flaws.

My best ride on V2 was in May of last year. It was a night ride, too. Walk-on for front row (so obviously we went there). I was dragged on kicking and screaming (never been so nervous in my life!) but now I love it. I have grown accustomed to coasters and look forward to a huge drop (rather than being nervous about it). I can't tell you how relaxed I am going up Giant Drop. Somtimes I wish the wait at the top was longer and that I had a camera (of course rules would have to allow it) so I could get some awesome shots! I'm usually just thinking of how comfortable the padded seat is, like I'm a pro at it and am more concerned about the amount of padding than the drop itself. :)

Hip Hooray.....at least my husband will be happy in October that he can ride V2, since apparently Dragster is closed at Cedar Point, and he won't get on that this year. At least he gets to do one.
Welcome to ShockWave please pull your harness down as far as it will go. While riding ShockWave please keep your hands and feet inside the car, and your head against the headrest, please hold on to all loose articles, especially hats and glasses. Enjoy your ride!
