Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Mr. D.T. on August 18th, 2005, 10:51 pm
I've been to Hurricane Harbor several times and I got to ride one slide which is the one you ride with two or three more guests on an innertube instead of the ordinary waterslide. I thought it was calm, aside from the two seconds of pitch darkness.

This is a forum in which applies to the whole six flags waterpark chain, not just our Hurricane Harbor. Within these boundaries, which water ride do you like the best, or which do you consider more intense? I don't know yet, but I may know by Labor Day.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

Sorry. I hate Hurricane Harbor, but my favorite slide there is probably Wahoo Racers or the body slides.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

I'd have to say that my favorite slides are the bowl slides. My other favorites are the Wahoo Racers. I'm sure once I get on the body slides that those will instantly be my favorite.

The body slides? Are you talking about those beyond the wave pool next to the tollway? I think these are the slides where everyone rents an individual raft.

I like Hurricane Mountain, nothing beats a good tube slide. Gotta have another person in your tube though

No, you don't need rafts for these. I'm talking about the blue & purple speed slides.

I like any slide at Hurricane Mountain. The wahoo racers are good but I got stuck on them  . However, the purple slide at Hurricane Mountain kind of hurt my back and gave my friends little sister a scratch on there. Still love it.

^ Hurricane Mountain doesn't have a purple slide. HM has Yellow, Green, Teal, and Blue.

It sounds like you're talking about the purple body slide by the wave pool. (that slide complex doesn't have a name).

Any slide in Hurricane Mountain. Or Skull Island (not for the rides, but for the look).

^ I dunno about that, have you ridden the purple Skull Island Slide? It's fast, but without the harmful badness of Paradise Plunge/Riptide.

Same here, but all of HH eats up gp.

I don't go to the waterpark very much, and I don't plan on going, because I'm a COASTER enthusiast and I don't care for walking around without a shirt on and waiting in big lines.

Oh ok. I don't know the names of all the rides by heart ... yet.
