Correct me if I'm wrong, but everybody seems to think it sucks because it never seems to run on a consistent basis. I mean, I haven't gone to SFGAM in 2 years. Back in 2002 when I went, it wasn't running & neither was Vu. I went this year, a few wks ago, and again, neither were running. I was mad!
If be everybody you mean 10 enthusiasts on a website.... your forgetting about the 3 million people that come every year.... and always seem to stand in line for it
know...I was responding to the post above my last one. I haven't even been on V2 yet, and I like it. Always seems to be closed when I go. That's all I was saying, otherwise I'd be standing in line for it just like the thousands of other people do every year.
Lately, I believe that! I was just thinking that the other day in fact. "I bet they run on any other day except when I go out to the park." That sucks!
He said he talked to an employee, then referred to them as a he/she. So that leads me to believe that either he didn't really talk to an employee, or he couldn't tell what gender the employee was, hence the shemale reference...

NO!! I had a nightmare last night. Only one part was good.
The Nightmare: V2 opened (Good part) but it was differant. First off, Both towers were straight up and the launch was nothing (like 10 m.p.h) but when you got all straped in and stuff the seats turned around (so you launch out the back forward) It was crazy.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu
Yes, as of Monday V2 is closed. I saw them working on it though..
I know how rumors go around the employees.. but I was with an employee today at Six Flags and she said that V2 won't open for the rest of the season. I don't know if it's true.
lol, she actually heard all of the same rumors about the "new coaster" that have been circulating around here (Whizzer or demon being removed; stargate/go karts being removed). It was funny when I heard her say this.
I know it's been posted somewhere before, I'm sure, but I read a couple of the posts in this thread and decided the rest wasn't worth reading. Seriosuly, some of you guys need to grow up.
Anyways, my question: When did V2 go down? Why did it go down? And what were the reasons behind why it went down?
If someone can answer this intelligently, I'd be appreciative.
Numer 1: are any of you Technical people for six flags or work with rollerocoasters in the mechanical stand point?
NO, thats what i thought. you dont know whats wrong with V2, so you cant say it WONT OPEN for the rest of the season becuase you dont know exactly what is wrong just based on what you see missing from the track'
Number 2: say i was a seasonal employee that worked v2 (as my ride that year) your telling me becuase im seasonal? there just gonnna relocate me to another ride without telling me what happened? or when it will re-open? thats just plain stupid. you make seasonal employee's sound like dogs, and all they know is "go here, push that, go there".

Can you guys PM one another, settle your differences, perhaps even call a truce to the little campfire wars that appear to have broken out across the board?
I'm not completely innocent in the flame wars of old either, but this is getting a little crazy.
Back on Topic
Has anyone seen any kind of lifting or hauling equipment around V2? I would have to imagine those LIM's aren't the lightest things out there.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
I just cleaned an entire page out of this topic. If you can't agree take it to PM's. No more warnings. I'm sick of having to lock/delete posts. Its not fun and takes a long time on my part.
PM is there for a reason. The people who are warned know who they are.
