V2

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

The ride is boring as hell. Seriously, the vertical towers gimmick can only keep someone entertained so long. Going back and forth a few times, not my definition of thrilling. in my opinion, even Spacely Sprocket Rockets is better than V2.

I never saw V2 move yesterday. I went by it about a half-dozen times not to mention I did try to keep my eye on it when I was in other areas of the park.

I like v2 alittle more than dejavu cause v2 dosent give you a headache. And they don't tell you where to sit on v2.

^ Yeah no kidding. I think the line moves a lot faster on V2 than DJV.

damn...talk about removing the theming. If they still had an area like that in Yankee Harbor it would make more sense!

Count me in as "would rather have the lighthouse than that Intamin POS" group. The ride just does nothing for me. The launch is weak (or at least weaker than Rock'n'Rollercoaster at WDW) and the towers are dissappointing. I was expecting my stomach to drop on the vertical tower but no, no feeling at all. And the fact that I get a headache everytime I go into that station is enough to keep me away from that ride forever. I wish they would have put in a Swat ride instead. Ok well i've filled my V2 bashing quota for the year :) .

The lighthouse was really better than that hunk of junk V2. As Comic Book Guy would say, "Worst Coaster Ever" or at least currently at SFGAm.

Wow the V2 hate is really bad here. It did kill the theming though. 2001 was my first time at SFGAm, so I never saw it before V2 was there. The theming in Yankee Harbor is a joke now. BTR and V2 are really harbor themed. But I would rather have a coaster, and hey it at least eats up some GP. in my opinion the only coasters V2 is better than are Iron Wolf and Spaceleys.

Its also amazing to see all those old pics of SFGAm. Park has changed so much.

LMAO!!! That one made my day!

Between Deja Vu and V2, I prefer V2.

V2 does get kinda boring after a few rides in a row on it, but I think it's still more fun than any ride I've ever had on Deja Vu.
Finally Coaster Season!!

I would MUCH rather have the lighthouse...V2 is just so boring and forceless, at least to me.

In my opinion, V2 is a great ride. Hopefully, punkbunny2424 (I know she used to like this ride.) and I will be the only ones in line when it opens up. Yeah right, who am I kidding.

I think the other Intamin coaster is a piece of junk.

I would go on it....all my friends think it's unreliable so they're like "I don't think so..." me, I would go on it in a second. Of course, lately they also think I have a death wish, but....

Nope :( V2 nor Vu was running that day. I think Vu tested, but after that, I never saw it run. I know because I was going to go see if I could ride solo if I was getting on with an exit pass, but the ride wasn't running anyway. I was SERIOUSLY bummed. All my friends are really afraid of that ride. Practically thought I was a fool for even suggesting riding it. Now, do you see why you need to move back here??

I thought the same thing that day! I haven't been on either one of them since they've been put in. Eric thinks "They should take them down and put up something more reliable." I'm like, "Noooo...it runs, just never when I'm there!" I think I need to borrow you one of these days and we should go. Even if your baby doesn't. Be easier if you guys lived here (did I mention that ? )

What's wrong with V2? I think it's an awesome ride. Definitely would rather have a coaster over some scenery.
