Both are in my top 15, but Viper takes the cake.

Viper, american eagle is rough and kind of cheap
I'm running to Bull on opening day, anyone gets in my way and they'll get trampled.

^Yeah no kidding. I'd half to go with Viper. It's a lot more fun that AE too!

sfgam05, explain to me how a coaster is "cheap".
I like American Eagle better simply because of the fact that it is a racing coaster. I am one of those obnoxious teens some of you seem to hate judging by the pet peeves topic, because i like to talk crap to the opposing train as we are racing. It's just so fun for me.

Viper is awesome. Eagle backwards is good too and forward not bad either but Viper wins.

I enjoy them both but I have to say American Eagle in the flash of a camera! It's a classic and resembles the old Marriott spirit.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

I agree with Woodland that Viperback row is one awesome ride, I think American Eagle Red back row takes the cake. The helix is fun, the drop is intense, and it has some nice bunny hills at the end. Eagle red is much better than Blue, even backwards. And these two rides are two premium wood coasters in my opinion, both offer different, interisting, and unforgetable rides.

I think Blue is ALOT better than Eagle red. You dont get any air on red, and u get ejector air on blue.

I personally did not really care for our Eagle until Blue started running backwards. Now it's a must every trip to the park.

Viper. There's too much braking on American Eagle. Don't get me wrong...I love it and it's a classic that I really appreciate being able to ride, and after they tear it down will be talked about for a long time, but sometimes it goes so slow that Whizzer seems more intense.

Eagle Blue owns red and day in my opinion. Much more airtime and a smaller line...I very rarely go on red.

...if only they removed the brakes on top of the helix.
