It is true that more people get hurt walking into closed doors in a year then they do on Amusement park rides.
Sounds good to me
 I mean roller coasters are cool, but they aren't my whole life.

 i'm rocking the suburbs, just like quiet riot did...
My girlfriend always gets worried about something happening on a coaster. I've went through the statistics with her several times, and explained to her many times that's there's like three seperate things that would have to fail in order to fall out a ride like S:UF (maybe more?). She gets real freaked out when we go on RB too. I also have to remind her that of the hundreds of coaster rides I've taken at GAm only one time has something happened and that was getting stuck at the top of the lift on IW about 10 years ago. I personally thought it was funny. Not many other people on that train did though. Hell, we were on our way in 5 minutes. I was enjoying the view.
Anyways, you got a better chance at winning the lottery or getting struck by lightning than getting injured on a coaster. Most of the stories you hear about people falling out of coasters is due to their own stupidity. My Favorite SFGAm Coasters:
Raging Bull, Viper, Batman: The Ride, Iron Wolf
^actually that's not true. You have a better chance of getting hurt on a ride then you do of getting struck by lightening or winning the lottery.

Im not one to start rumors or being late on news
 But when I was at the fair with my friend, we were going to go on the Free Fall ride. Just like Giant Drop. She said im going to tie my hair up, I dont want it to get stuck and instantly die just like that one girl at Giant Drop. I never heard this story, ever. Kind of scary since my sisters hair is really long, but is it true? They said it happened in the beggining of May, to their sources, but it could be a rumor. I didnt even see it come up in the news, or even on this website...strange. I try not to think its true, there were two people that told me that story, very scary. She probly heard it from a false rumor, but I just want to be sure if its true or not. However, if its not, I would make a fool of myself lol  , but can this happen at all?No matter how hard it is...Never EVER give up. The real failure is those who dont try.
Even if I'm wrong, she doesn't know that, nor do many other people. I'm just trying to help out. If I have to lie just a little to get somebody on a coaster I'll do it.My Favorite SFGAm Coasters:
