Sfgamfreak4life said something really ignorant. He said that he gets annoyed by people who dont speak english, what would you like those people to do, not go to sixflags altogether. Sure lets start a ban against people who dont speak english, that will really help sixflags finacially. That pissed me off personally cause im mexican and I can speak both spanish and english, but there are others who dont have the opportunites I have. If people who dont speak english annoy you so much then something is wrong with you, cause they do nothing to you yet you still get irratated by them, thats sad, racist

I'm running to Bull on opening day, anyone gets in my way and they'll get trampled.
Yeah, I don't see how it could bother someone if someone's speaking spanish... The United States doesn't have a national language, we can speak whatever we want.
There's a lot of people that come to Great America from all over the world, do you get bothered by their language? It is kind of racist to just specify "Spanish". There's nothing wrong with Spanish, you don't see people blabbering about English. It sure is a hard language to learn though, I've been studying it for 3 years and I still can barely speak it.
spanish was a example, i have nothing against other nationalities, coasters for the world, doesnt matter what race or religion, or what language you speak, no one is better , we are all the same. Lets stop the racism, i think we should at least be that mature.

Here's a few things I hate, starting with the most annoying:
1. Line jumping, to be followed with a lame excuse for said line jumping.
2. Teenage girls who scream like they're getting killed the entire ride (any coaster), including leaving/entering the station, going up the lift, etc. Can we get some muzzles for these screamers? It's not the ear-bashing from the coaster that's hurting my head here.
3. Ride Ops who take their sweet-ass time checking everyones harness'. I've experienced this everytime on S:UF.
4. People who yap on cell phones the entire time in line. Come on, turn off the phone and leave the damn thing in your car. I'm not interested in hearing your self-important, yuppie conversations.
5. Motormouths who hold up the line. Seems to always happen on RB and any water ride.
6. Couples who feel the need to make-out and grope each other in line. If I wanted to watch a porno I would have stayed home.
..and last, but certainly not least
7. Long lines, long waits.

I really liked Whiplash Effect's comment on the warts and sandals for S:UF because its really gross, but its not like you cant tell them not to wear sandals. Once I rode the ride, me and my friends yelled the whole time saying "I can see your wart!" Didnt have one but it was still funny.
1. One pet peeve I have is that once the park gets something really really nice, somebody vandalizes it!
2. Second is the fact that little kids start fights with older people, what are the old people going to do, Nothing?! What are the little kids going to do, nothing! So this goes out to the security.
3. Line jumping, and not only in rides.
4. Nobody knows where the restrooms are even though there are park maps and a huge sign saying "Rest Rooms."
I got more but they will come later.
No matter how hard it is...Never EVER give up. The real failure is those who dont try.
Ive noticed while waiting inline for many rollercoasters, there are ride ops on EACH SIDE of the train, checking harness's (like viper) however, if the one guy is ready to check the next harness, he waits for the person on the other side to catch up. is it a law that the people on both sides must be nsync? i mean as long as there all checked
Long lines, big crowds, slow walking people, line jumping, smoking in line, loud swearing (especially when i'm with my sister and her little kids) i'll ask them to please shut the hell up in a nice way. And yeah that's pretty much it.
Basicly (sp) the ones above, and the people who don't check to make sure they fit into the harnesses, and then get POed when they can't ride. i'm not trying to be mean to the larger folks, but it wastes everyone time, including there own!
i'm rocking the suburbs, just like quiet riot did...
^ I know, that also happened on King Chaos once. But it was with 2 people instead of just 1. They kept trying to open and close the harnesses like, 3 times. Then they realized, one guy was too big, and one girl was too small.
I have sympathy, really I do, for those people. One time a big ghetto guy didnt get on the S:UF and punched the wall where the ride ops control the ride. They kicked him out of the ride, however, the security gaurds where nice enough to wrap his wrist around with a bandage to stop the bleeding . Maybe he was trying to make himself look tough because he was to embarrased for getting kicked off the ride.

I seen a similar incident last year waiting in line for SWF. This one guy was huge. I mean, he had to be pushing 350 lbs., and his buddy couldn't have been more than 150. I remember them getting in the boat once, and the bar was at least a foot above the skinny guy's legs, so they wouldn't let them ride together. I remember the ride ops debating about where he should ride in the boat for safety reasons. I don't remember the guy getting all the mad about it though. They eventually let him ride because I saw him walking over the bridge after I sat down and emptied the water out of my shoes next to Demon.

Yeah.. There was a good hour wait for Raging Bull last Sunday. When this group finally got on the ride one woman was too big. They seriously tried like 5 times to push down the restraint down with no success.
I felt really bad for her... she waited for a whole hour and got humiliated. I saw her go behind a crowd at the ride exit and she put on her sunglasses so I assumed she was crying.

Yes. Ride Ops (at least on Viper) are trained to check harnesses together. I forget the reasoning, but we had to do it! Otherwise, if you didn't, you had to check the row by yourself, which isn't fun leaning over and check another lapbar; you get really concious about your breath.
I never get fastlane so the people who do bug me when they take my seat on the train.
Smokers.
People who won't stop swearing.

When I was on IW one time one of the ride ops wasn't waiting for the other ride op. He was checking the harnesses so fast that one guy said " Dude, your day isn't going to end faster just because you think you need to rush checking the harnesses".
Sorry for the double post!!

New pet peeve. Idiots who feed the Terns ("Sea Gulls") in the parking lot.
These birds are an incredible nuisance, have been know to get aggresive towards humans, and they carry various diseases.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
Last year me, my fiance and my brother went to a Phish concert at Alpine Valley and the next day we decided to meet with my sister in law and nephews at Six Flags. Well we are walking through the parking lot and I feel something... well a sea gull decided to relieve himself on my freaking shoulder. Talk about gross! My nephew still laughs everytime we walk through the parking lot and sea gulls are flying above us.
i just realize that one of my posts on this topic was miswritten, i put spanish where i meant english, i would quote myself and point out where exactly but i dont know how to, my apoligies for those of you who misunderstood me, its now edited.
