SF Conference Call

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

B&MGuy29 wrote:I beleive if I heard right in the call it was also stated that most of the parks will be recieveing something new for 2006 and the bigger parks will be getting the bigger rides or attractions.

They were most likely talking about the smaller SF parks. They just got a Tornado slide for 2005, and they expect more growth at them parks. Rememeber SFGAdv and SFGAm did bring attendance up, but they didn't do it on their own. Other SF parks brought up attendance to due to the new attractions and the advertising campaign, which is a success.

To assure you, SFGAm HH will be in the spotlight for another year or two since its a new addition. Sad to say the only thing I see this park getting in 2006 is a Tornado slide and more improvements around the park.
I don't know ALL the Facts!!!!!!

Those rollercoasters and Tornado together do not equal $125 million.

B&Mguy29, I believe you. Sadly, no one else does. They won't believe you unless they see actual physical proof. :(

For coaster Alex0805, B&Mguy29 says that it will be B&M's second coaster.

I'm not believing anything until the park makes an announcement.

But in a way I do believe this B&M guy.

I think one of their best attended parks would get something better than a tornado in a season where they have $125 million to spend. I believe B&M Guy not because I want a coaster, which I do, but how dumb could SF be by not pumping rides here?

That would be good. A tall hyper-twister racing coaster!!(But that idea probably won't happen.)

I don't know where to start with that post, there's just too much to poke fun at.

I think it's funny that all of these 13 year olds think that because their moms and dads told them that GAm is getting a new coaster this year, it's gotta be true. Show me proof it's happening and I'll shutup. But until then...

I'll doubt you'll shut up either way.
But for those of you who say that we're ONLY getting a tornado next year.

The following is about half-sarcastic/half-serious

When has the park, in recent years got less then one thing. This year, we got HH and the "New England Cafe" We also got Circo, M+M, Kachunga, and PB Lumberjack show. We also got new games in HTS and SWT. A New Restaurant in SWT, a new paintball place in SWT. A New Dippin' Dots stand in SWT, a new Store in Mardi Gras, a New Character in the Parade, A New system for Farmer's Market, About a dozen new Churro/Ice Mountain/Coke stands, a new Lemon Chill Stand, and a new Nascar show. We're getting more then the Tornado next year.

I've also heard things about a lot "Bigger" shows for the 30th anniversary. So.......Interpret as you will.

I bet it's a repeat of the 25'th annerversary (which actually means something, unlike 30'th next year), I bet they introduce a new parade :)

That and waterpark expansion in the form of a Tornado...

Is this comment on what I said or what RagingBullLover1543 said?

I believe that we are getting something more than the Tornado. Look what we got for our 20th anniversary "Southwest Territory." I could be wrong but I personally believe that we are getting something for our 30th. other than Tornado.

I don't even care anymore.. As long as they improve the overall park experience and appearance I'm fine. Maybe add a flat or two, that'll keep me happy.

We do sound a little greedy.. We just got a water park! Come on, they need to give major expansions a break for at least a year.

I'm sure we'll get something for 07 though. (Well not sure sure) :P

If you were being serious then the Dippin Dots stand was already in SWT ::cough:: Just near The Oasis.

You know in that picture where they showed the construction picture about getting a tornado ( before HH opened ). Well since they already dug up the hole and everything where is it now what do they use to cover it up?

They fill the Basin in with sand. It was supposed to be an area for people to go and relax, sunbathe, etc. but they now have 'Keep Off The Grass' signs up. The footers are covered with buckets.

Actually, it isn't the same stand. It was closed a lot recently because of some problems with maintenance, and they ended up just scrapping that stand and getting a new one.

1. The paintball was RELOCATED to that spot, so you cannot call it knew, jjust relocated

2. The Dippin Dots Stand in SOUTHWEST, isnt new, it just relocated from its old location near Southwest amphatheater, by the Coca Cola COOL ZONE

Ok im done, feel free to do the following: Lash back, correct me, tell me how it is....and so on.....

Problem with #2: See my last post.
