I Like the HOLD on the vertical tower of V2, but then again, wicked twister not only has 1 twist tower, but 2 and the twist is taller and tighter....so its a WIN, WIN thing

V2 AND Vu were closed yesterday. Aug 6th....I was there from open 'til about 9 or 9:30 and I don't think Vu ever opened. I kept checking because I wanted to get on it. V2 was never open from get go. I've gone 2 or 3x since those two were put in and have never been there when they were open.
The only reason I wanted it to open was to take some crowds away from the rest of the park during RTS. Now that that's over, I could care less when it reopens.
Just because LIMS are off doesn't mean that they are fried. There are electrical calbes/parts above teh LIMS that might need to be serviced.
In fact, LIM's are realitivly maintenence free as there are no moving parts. 1/2 of the motor is mounted on the train and the other half is the magnet itself on the track.
And also, hasn't Wicked Twister been tuned down a bit after they discovered Stress Fractures? I don't think they ever sped it back up. I think it's running close to the same speed that V2 runs at.
OK, so it's not the most exciting ride there, but it's also not boring. There's lots of things more boring than riding V2 (sitting in traffic, for example).
I could personally sleep through V2. It is forceless, no airtime at all. Very mediocre in my opinion, and the launch is VERY weak. Not worth more than a one or two cycle wait in my opinion. The holding break is nothing compared to the lift on tower 1 of Deja Vu. I usually avoid V2...and if it's open I'm happy because that will eat up more of the crowds...

2. X
3. Millenium Force
4. Top Thrill Dragster
5. Raging Bull
It's great to wait your first time unlike alot of people who have been on it alot of times to me it get a little boring riding it alot and it doesn't make me want to wait a hour.
I don't think the ride sucks, I just wouldn't wait for that. It just ain't my top 3.
DEJA VU beats V2 Hands down, its first of all a 90 Degree drops which is awsome, then a boomarange, then a loop, and what do you know, then you dropped on your back, doing a LOOP backward and then a Boomerang BACKWARD. its awsome
Impulses rock! Steel Venom, V2, and Wicked Twister are easily in my top 20 favorite coasters, whereas DejaVu (now that i've ridden it) sucks. Granted, the SFGAm clone is better than the SFOG clone.
Didn't you guys hear? Instead of taking down Whizzer they are taking down V2 because of public outcry. The Dippin Dots guy started telling everyone about Whizzer's Demise early in the season and so many park patrons went to guest relations complaining they just had to keep Whizzer.
