Since all the V2 topics seem to be closed, I have decided to make another one to just say that V2 did cycle two times yesterday August 3. The mechanics were moving the train back and forth out of the station. Then they cycled it, and did it one more time before they left. So this is a good sign that it should re-open soon after being closed for almost 2 weeks.

That doesn't seem too good of a sign considering that they have to actually move the train back to the station.

No, they had the ride in manuel, and they were moving back and forth testing out the LIMs and brakes, moving back and forth electronically, not by hand power.

^ Yes the power of hands! Glad to hear that it's opening soon, I think maybe the giant air conditioner exploded or something. But yeah pushing the train back and fourth in the station is common stuff for Impulse coasters so it IS a good sign!

Hopefully it opens up very soon. I saw it testing one of the days I was there, but it wasn't successful
yeah I just love that ride, built right on the lake straight into the beach, you couldn't ask for a better location. And the back spike in row 16 is simply awesome....plus its taller and faster than V2

Has V2 been closed since the power outage? If so then Im not surprised because it's happened before... one season it happened and didn't open back up for the rest of the year.
I haven't been on Wicked Twister so I can't say whether I like it more than V2 or not. I've been to Cedar Point twice my whole life (once last year and once this year) and Wicked Twister has been closed both times. I bet I will like them both the same though.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu
EDIT: Yesterday 07/04/05 V2 was closed, the train was sitting near the front tower, and a couple of the WHite LIM'S near the back tower were being TAKIN off, so they must need to replace some of them. so i wonder when it will re-open
I like V2 much, much better. The back tower where you stop in the air is just awesome. Two different experiences is awesome to have on a ride. That's why I like D Vu' a lot (the two different towers).
Before I went there, I was thinking that WT is going to be awesome because of that (two spikes), but I just like V2/Steel Venom so much better. I also like the colors of V2 (close, but no cigar) and Steel Venom better.
