I personally feel that discussing Rumors takes away for all of our credibility. We dont know what will happen, and trying to make rash predictions and bold statments gets us no closer to the truth.
PS: The second part of this message is not directed to you Coaster Alex0805 but to every one on this forum.
I went on rcdb.com and read that whizzer at paramounts gret america was scrapped. So now I hope that six flags keeps this ride since there arent any clones of it.

There's a difference between an opinoin and a wild rumor some random poster started to get attention. None of us know what's going to happen. (At least most of us, I know that some people on this website do know what's going to happen) So all this topic is accomplishing is the chance to have a monster sarcasm rally!
These are opinions! The fact is that Whizzer may or may not be removed.
Yes, we don't know the truth, but we are allowed to have our opinions
on whether or not it will be.
The truth is, Whizzer, sooner or later WILL be removed, and there isn't
anything we can do about it. If Whizzer isn't removed for 2006, I do
expect that it will be removed sooner than later.
Every coaster will meet it's demise, even Raging Bull. But that'll be a long
time from now! Very long time!

I hate to start an arguement, but these are not opinions. Your opinion can neither be right nor wrong. But in the case of whether Whizzer will be removed, there is a right and wrong answer. It can't both stay and go.
This topic has featured arguments about Whizzer, new rides, what the new rides may be, why SF wouldn't do that, n00bs coming on and posting a random "It'll be the second kind in the US", and a new one about wheter opinions are generated on facts. Well, I don't think they are. Look at politics, you have x amount of people going to support one candidate and y amount of people supporting the other. Their opinions on who they want are not generated on facts, so why couldn't it be that this is one of those cases.
"Waits patiently to hear what SF is going to do for '06"
If they are not generated on facts, then what are they generated on? Whizzer's removal is a simple matter of fact: yes (it will be removed) or no (it will not be removed). You could say "I think Whizzer should be removed because..." and that would be an opinion. But you cannot say "No, Whizzer is staying for 2006" or "Yes, Whizzer is going for 2006" and when you're wrong (because one side will be) argue that it was only your opinion. Opinions and predictions are two completely separate things.

We will have a whole day to come up with a pointless topic speculating on whether or not SFI earnings are strong enough to support removal of the Whizzer and replacement with a new coaster.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
It was during this conference call last year that we discovered possibly our biggest expansion to date. If something similar happens, I'll start the second annual 'Can You Say..." topic.
