To everyone bashing my post , notice how i said that i WOULDNT MIND if it was torn down. I never said that I wanted it torn down, and i understand that it is some people's favorite, i was just saying that I dont like it. You are all entitled to your opinions just like me. So next time if people want to call me selfish then they should get their facts straight.
I'm running to Bull on opening day, anyone gets in my way and they'll get trampled.
Look, with ragin cajin and spacvelys something rocket whizzers on its way to the boiler. Considering ragin cajin is only 43 feet tall and goes a whopping 29 miles an hour its a family ride.

Okay first off RC is awsome. Nothing spectacular would fit in its spot, except for maybe another wild mouse with non spinning cars. If you don't like RC then good, I personially loved the ride and would LOVE to have on at my park. Its intence and fun, just what a ride is supposed to be.

Im the token "doesnt live in Chicago" SFGAm member or whatever.
Would you rather have Ragin Cajun...or the pond, bridge and virtual reality thing that was there before it?
Cajun is a very fun ride when the trims aren't on, and I actually think putting it there was good use of space that wasn't being used. Before Cajun was put there I would have never thought any type of coaster could fit in that area.
No offense, but some of you are really darn selfish. It's not Roller Coaster Tycoon here people. There's more to a park than big rollercoasters. More families visit the park than we do. The park caters to them before they cater to us. So I suggest you all hush up, because that ride is probably paid off already.
Well said.
Now, give it a few years and if Six Flags was to ever remove it (It is a traveling ride afterall) the forums would be full of "Save Raging Cajun" posts.
The ride is actually really fun.. it'll keep you laughing the entire time.
The only problem is the queue, as I've said before. Why would they remove it? What other coaster would they fit there? Even a coaster like SSR wouldn't fit there. I think it's perfect for that spot.
I do not think Rajin Cajun is a waste of money or space.
Here are three points as to why I think this:
1) It is a great family ride, and one that families can bring middle-aged kids on.
2) It is a fun addition that was also an extremely cheap buy for SFGAM.
3) It is occupying a space that wasn't really used for much in its earlier years.
Sure, I have ridden a couple of better spinning coasters. Timberland Twister at the Mall of America comes to mind. But Rajin Cajun still provides me with a decent ride that will make me laugh .
Now I regret even starting this topic because I cant even say my opinion without people getting down my throat about it. I never said that something better would fit in its space, and I have been on it. And for the second time I said that I WOULDNT MIND if it was torn down. I NEVER said that I wanted it torn down, I said that it doesnt matter to me. I dont wish anything bad on this ride and thats the point I've been trying to make, i just said that I dont like it.
