i think u suck sfga guy. U want dumb oldies stuff. Which will make like 80 year olds come into the park. They wont ride anything just take up space. I personally think ur some drunk 70 year old sitting at his 1980 computer all day just waiting to say crap on the site. New skool is in old skool is out. Its the new millenium so get a life.

I would like to see heavy metal bands, death metal bands, and black metal bands but it is a family park so yea. If Sic Coaster Kid read this he would be on my side. I think some nice classic rock bands would work. Bands like Journey, Blue Oyster Cult, REO Speedwagon, etc. Anybody agree? Ive seen those bands before so I would go in a flash. I would go for any other bands too.

Homestar Runner
Billy Graham
Road Runner (I never once saw him, he could sprint across the midway)
Avalon
Phillips, Craig, and Dean
Ty Pennington (so he could fix up the service and some of the dilapidated buildings)
Shaggy (from Scooby Doo) - He's hilarious!
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

I don't think the general public would care for Irish rock too much. But of course the topic is what bands you would like to see at the park so... good choice.

The Warped Tour idea would be awsome. So would Underoath.

ok this is what i think, i like rap, matter of fact i love rap, but i dont think that kind of music is good for a family park, no we dont need barney, just a good band for all ages, i would love to go to sfgam and listen to some good music, but i bet more people like different kinds, and most wouldnt want their kids listening to that kind of stuff

Classic Rock would be good!! Like Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Bryan Adams, AC/DC, The Eagles, Dire Straits, and the Styx.

sfgam_guy I'm sorry about the barney comment!!

I guess you're right it is a family park and there are a lot of little kids who go there so you really do have a point!! :D

In that case, there should be some classic R&B band and singers there as well such as Earth Wind & Fire, the Isley Brothers, Frankie Beverly & Maze, the O'Jays and so forth.

Oh God :? I'm going to have to destroy my Flogging Molly Cd's now.

Please tell me you never heard of Dropkick Murphy's, at least those Cd's might remain safe.

I love Dropkick Murpheys! They actually just did a live show on XM Satellite on Saturday. I was sitting in my car all day listening.

Also other I love... Ten Foot Pole, Dillinger Four, ALL, Descendents, Bad Religion, Bouncing Souls, Down By Law, Dwarves. Almost anything on Epitaph Records or Black Cat records.

I'Ve found myself listening to alot of Rise Against and Alkaline Trio lately. If Six Flags were to go for a concert of that Genre (not likely) both of those bands are from Chicago, and both are semi decent lyrics.
