KKK? No, more like I'm tired of listening to people complain about their lives while listening to music about how bad their life is.

*EMO Giggles* EMO music isn't about hating life, it's about love and relationships usually.

I don't really care for Slipknot anymore...I liked them when no one else did in middle of '99. But now I am EMO and like EMO music.

EMO
Emo (an abbreviation of "emotionally-driven hardcore punk" or just "emotional-hardcore") is a term now broadly used to describe almost any form of guitar-driven alternative rock that expresses emotions beyond traditional punk's limited emotional palette of alienation and rage.

Don't you realize this is a family park!!? The park isn't going to be sponsering bands that just swear the entire night.

"Mommy! Mommy! I wanna get crunk in the club!'

There goes a generation down the drain.

I wonder if they can get some of those family style punk bands off of the T.V.'s. That could keep a family atmosphere. I guarantee, we wont see any 50 cent, or the Ying Yang whatever. :roll:

"Family Style Punk Bands" - One would think that is an oxymoron, but unfortunately the mass media music machine (think RIAA) has managed to take something as great as Punk and turn it into a harmless bubble gum packaged load of crap.

I wouldn't mind seeing a regional battle of the bands contest. Take regional acts with original music - no cover bands - and place them in a winner take all environment.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

Timmy is my favorite member now. Emo wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the whiny white suburban males that lead the groups. Seriously, learn how to sing without shattering glass. Example: Coheed and Cambria.

If that other person way up at the top of the thread didn't get "hammered" for mentioning a bunch of really good country artists;
CoasterTycoon77 wrote: I want to see....Toby Keith, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney

I doubt anyone will make fun of your mainstream pop/punk interests. Unless of course, hardly anyone realized that those were country artists...

Anyways, I love the Beatles and if American English (a beatles tribute band) can play at one of my town's little faire things, then I'm sure six flags could book 'em.
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.
